Great, reliable family sized microwave.
This is a great microwave. Plenty big enough for a family and very reliable. I've now owned this for 12 years and it's still going strong. It's easy to clean, and still looks brand new. It's very heavy and has quite a large footprint, but it's not something you'll be moving much, so it's fine. I paid just under £200 for it in 2013, and it's definitely been good value for money, especially as it was our sole cooking appliance for over 2 years. Nowadays, I mainly use the microwave and defrost features, which are good, but the oven feature works well and it's large enough inside to cook a family sized joint of meat in. It will also cook it in a much quicker time than a normal oven. The jacket potato program is great, and will cook them in around 23 minutes. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this product. It may not be the cheapest, but so far it has lasted 12 years with daily use, so the build quality and reliability are top notch, which to me is worth the extra cost in the long run as it is likely to work out cheaper than buying cheap and having to replace it every few years.

Not cheap, but sophisticated cooking programmes, very reliable and well worth the money.
Almost identical to its predecessor (and the predecessor to that one) so minimal learning time to use it, and the only thing missing on this version is the clock display, which I found most useful. Otherwise simple to use with clever programmes, and very well made. Both previous machines lasted 20 years so they may be expensive, but top quality and well worth the money.

5 Star
Great oven, our 2nd., first lasted 12+ years. Looked everywhere for a similar replacement but nothing available same same size with shelves, then found the original was still available. Some 1 star reviewers say they are now flimsily made, thinner metal, poor quality and made in China. Our replacement is identical to the original, same gauge of steel, same build quality and still made in Thailand. Great little oven, even though we now have an air fryer that is great, but not suitable for everything.

Great but a couple of annoying quirks
Bit of a monster this one, which was what we expected. It is a great bit of kit but there are some nagging quirks with it. The defrost function drives me mental, it will not simply run a defrost cycle, it is determined that you should attentively turn your food every minute or so. I understand that this is the correct, even and most effective defrost cycle, but I am not going to "remove any defrosted parts" to a separate dish every minute. so if you set a defrost of 10 mins expect to have to go back to it constantly. We now set a low microwave power to defrost untended, I will admit though, if you follow the defrost to the letter you would never know it defrosted in a microwave. Second utterly rage inducing thing which is not as easily avoided is the preheat function. Any oven setting initiates a preheat function that whacks the oven on full blast until it gets to the temp you asked for. For years I've never bothered preheating ovens and just thrown stuff in with a little extra added to account for the lack of preheat (yeah i'm lazy). But I would advise DO NOT put food in to cook while it preheats, it will incinerate it! this means that you have no choice but to set the temps, press go and return after the preheat (an unknown amount of time) has passed. So you can't get in from work, throw food in and go for a shower, you have to set temp, stare at the wall for what feels like eternity waiting for it to beep, then put food in. The size of this unit is what drew us to it as, until our kitchen is refurbished, we have no oven. It is great, but the previously mentioned two points will drop it a star as they really do waste my time.

Sharp 40l combi microwave
Still the best combi microwave you can buy for this money, it's our 3rd of the same in 20 years, and all we realy use for family of 4, apart from an induction hob. Never use the main oven because of this.

Very good
This is good. My second, the first has lasted over ten years. It kept going but began to look a little worn given the uses it had made. Liked so much was pleased to learn that new ones are still available. Maybe a little pricy compared with what one can get but is solid, reliable, solid, roomy, well made, so has to value for the money.
