the plastic moulds are so thin they snap as soon as you try to remove the plaster of Paris. meaning that these are one use moles I'm disappointed that woodland Scenics would sell something this shoddy

Mold cracked straight away, it's a vacuum formed mold, not silicone like all woodlands scenics others. Plaster supplied cracked (tried with own in unbroken sections and didn't crack) just buy a better mold

Easy to use and nice clean contours on rocks good value for the quality of the results

There's nothing wrong this this kit per say, but it's just a tiny bag of plaster of Paris and a very flimsy plastic mould, I personally wouldn't bother.

These learning kits by Woodland Scenics are great. They introduce one to an awesome line of products and explain how to use them. This one explains how to model rocks, paint them, and place them in settings that look great. Everything you need is in this little box. Once you try it and get comfortable using the elements, I expect you will order more of the products to build larger landscapes or projects. Woodland Scenics makes genuine quality products, and once you try them, you will be hooked and will want to use them regularly and pretty much to the exclusion of products made by anyone else. At least, that has been my experience. I have their website on my favorites list and have bought their catalog to see everything they make. You can sometimes get a better price through Amazon, but the Woodland Scenics' website offers all of their products at reasonable prices and delivery time is quick. And there are some products there that can't be found on Amazon, yet. Back to this Rock Outcropping Kit. It taught me how to make and model rocks. Now, I am making my own molds with Woodland Scenics Latex and putting together some pretty cool landscapes and terrain structures. It starts here.

La scatola contiene tutto quello che serve per fare diorami e plastici con le rocce. Secondo me è adattissimo per la piccola scala, quale 1/72, 1/87 scala N, 25mm. Le istruzioni sono chiare e precise e se seguite attentamente danno luogo ad un magnifico risultato. Consiglio sia ai principianti che agli esperti, i materiali riutilizzabili, quali gli stampi per le rocce possono avere una grande varietà di impiego. Per esempio per avere una varietà di rocce io alcune, le spezzo dopo averle estratte dallo stampo. Buon divertimento, penso che prenderò anche l'altro set che ho visto disponibile.

Product was good quality and instructions were easy. There could have been a little more material to finish the job I was trying to do.
