EcoAir | Silver Nano Filter | Anti Bacterial | Suitable for DD1 Classic & Simple

Use always when drying clothes. There are many settings depending you want to use all the time or for a few hours. The water tank can be trickly to remove but once you get the hang of it you can empty daily. Fills up quickly. Filters easy to replace. I do not know if this has been replaced but I will be looking for another one shortly. Great product.

My first experience was not a good one a mistake was made at Ecoair and the first replacement Nano filter was dispatched in just a grey plastic envelope which offered little protection against Royal Mail I don't know about your postman but ours of late never seems to be the same person twice and some of them are a bit mentally challenged as in if it does not fit through the letterbox can we make it fit as opposed to ringing the doorbell and in doing so the filter was broken on one side and curved as opposed to flat,Now after talking with the good people at Ecoair (mainly a chap called William who is a star) I was told that the replacement filter had not been packaged properly and that it should have been in a box with a bit of packing and that one was being sent out to me packaged the right way.true to his word the package arrived today (Wednesday 26/03/14) in a box that had both bubble wrap and polystyrene blocks in it,Even if postie had decided to play Frisbee with the box no way was the contents getting broken inside.as for the filter it does make a difference with it being new I have noticed that smells are being de-odourised quicker and better than with the old filter that was over a year old so I guess the silver part is doing its job in killing off the spores and bacteria in the air like it is supposed to do.I will be doing business with Ecoair again in the future knowing that if there is a problem they are willing to go that extra mile for their customers should a problem arise.

The replacement silver filter fits perfectly in my EcoAir DD122 Classic dehumidifier. I decided to replace the filter after five years of mostly occasional use of the dehumidifier on wet days in general, mainly to speed up laundry drying indoors. Now the freshness of the air coming out of the unit is cleaner and as new once more! A quick vacuum from time to time is advised to get rid of fluff and dust gathering at the back.I recommend to invest in buying this silver filter at some time during years of continuous use of dehumidifier, depending on how intensive it is used.

Having read the instructions on my dehumidifier, I realised I had exceeded the amount of water that the original filter should have been used for, by quite some distance. To a minimal amount of my surprise, it was pretty dirty, or dusty at best and looked like it needed replacing. I would say that replacing this part is essential and well worth it, as I imagine if I had kept it any longer it would've wreaked havoc on the insides of the dehumidifier, not clever considering it cost me over £100!!The order arrived in time and was very packaged.My only complaint is that it is rather expensive. Essential it may be, you do get the feeling that it should be cheaper, after all, its basically a plastic sheet! Other than that I have no complaints, it is an exact replica of the original and is extremely easy to replace.

Purchased due to rising energy costs I was a bit sceptical but it has been cheaper to run than the tumble dryer, stops condensation for non tumble clothes and warms the room!Very happy with my purchase

Does the job in reducing our room ambient humidity from over 70% to 55-60% on low settings. Requires a daily/every other day emptying. Can be noisy on higher settings depending on expectations. Easy to carry and didn't see a significant increase in electricity bill. Recommended

This filter is perfectly fine, nothing wrong with it. But then, there was nothing wrong with the filter it replaced in our Ecoair dehumidifier that stopped working after around 2 years. We replaced the filter and the fan on the dehumidifier now works again (why?) but the dehumidifier no longer collects water! My advice - don't buy this filter, and don't buy the dehumidifier it fits either. Look for something better that might last a little longer than just out of warranty.
