Could this be used for matcha?

Given the usually small amount of matcha tea made at a time and its low viscosity the speed and power of a Nanofoamer is probably too much. A traditional bamboo whisk is the better bet; gentle and more control. On the other hand, buy a Nanofoamer for your milk foaming for which it is designed then you could experiment with the matcha.

It wasn’t clear that a 5V USB-C charger is not included and I need to buy one. I’m not sure exactly what I need - can anyone help?

Sure, the product comes with a USB-C to USB-C short cable, so you can use any USB charger that you have, it could be a phone charger, a multi-device charger, or anything. The device will only draw 5V, so it is safe to use with any model. If you have USB-A chargers (with the wider USB plug), you will then need your own USB-A to USB-C cable, or an adapter.
