Like for like replacement at a fraction of the cost
Dropping one star as I've no idea how long this will last, but at a tiny fraction of the cost of a replacement one from DFS it's all good and working just fine. Certainly worth a punt to see how long it lasts so I can assess value for money.

Replaces original from Furniture Village/DFS etc
Bought to replace the blown original transformer supplied with our 2 seater recliner from Furniture Village. This model is rated at 2 amps, which is slightly lower than the original one, but it makes no noticeable difference to the speed of the mechanism. The bonus of this transformer is that it's considerably cheaper than buying one from any of the big sofa outlets. We also bought a 2 -1 splitter (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01ICNHK54/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1504717329&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=recliner+power+splitter) to run both seats from the one wall socket and transformer. Everything works well and with the one plug and transformer, it is far more tidy.

No mains cable supplies with item
Did not come with a mains input lead which was shown in the advert photos. Had to buy 2 pin figure of eight mains cable.
