I mounted this camera in my 2019 Ram 1500 crew cab. I used the 3M adhesive pad with mounting bracket. This bracket only allows up and down movement, but that is all you need. The fish eye lens does a great job at capturing the entire cabin and a very wide front view so no side to side adjustment is needed. I like that the inside camera can get what's behind me and on the sides through the windows. This really does give me a 360-degree view of the vehicle which is what I was looking for. I did have one issue when using the app to change the front facing camera to 4k it caused the unit to lock up. I had to use a paperclip to reset the unit per the Kingslim instructions. This did work and the unit was reset. I then used the camera buttons and changed the settings I needed to change on the unit itself. I have had no further issues since this one. I read some reviews that stated the unit got hot. I would say it did get a little warm, but this was more than likely to being placed in the front window in the sun with highs in the low to mid 80's. It definitely was not so hot you couldn't touch it. It was just very warm. I will be purchasing another for a second vehicle very soon.

Kingslim D6-4k is great it's always recording at all times

The dashcam has a very nice modern matte finish that gives it a sleek look. The recording quality is great, I can see details in pictures and recordings well. I really like the accelerometer, if you stop Start, or turn suddenly they takes a snapshot. Date, time, Speed, and GPS location is marked right on the pictures and videos so you don't have to worry about remembering details about a traumatic event. The video recording quality of the interior car is okay, but expected to be lower with a 1080p. The infrared lights show a little at night around the camera, but it's not distracting to the driver. Details are still easily visible. The cord that it comes with to plug into the cigarette lighter makes setup simple. I was able to route the cable around my dashboard and through the trim. I didn't have to use the 3m tape to mount the GPS to the windshield. The signal was fine even though It was dangling a little bit. I am going to order the hard wiring kit though, the 12v plug doesn't have a USB port. The wifi connection is very convenient for downloading videos on the fly, no having to remove the sd card, and transfer time is pretty quick. All in all, for the price you get a good quality dash cam with some decent features to help protect you in the event of something going wrong around you.

Bought 3 of these cameras. Wanted a forward with interior recording. Has gps, video settings, date/time, protected recording where selected vids won’t get erased from loop recording, parking/impact recording etc. Only issue I have is with battery. At six months one camera battery has completely died and will not take a charge. Got replacement warranty. You lose park mode. Normally when turn car off it does a proper shutdown but with dead battery it dies instantly. My other car is starting to do same. I’m going to install a static sun block on windshield to prevent direct sunlight hitting camera when parked on the new warranty replacement to see if that helps.

1. Maybe mine is broken, but it will NOT connect to computer. The option on the camera to connect via USB does NOT show up. 2. Can't record in lower resolution. I HATE 4K/2K. My computer can't play the videos. File size is way too big. Extremely high resolution is not necessary for a dash camera. I'd rather be able to store MORE lower res video then less high res video. I was doing rideshare at the time and wanted to be able to go back as far as possible in case some random scumbag accused me of doing something [again]. It doesn't matter anymore. It turns out the winning move is not to play. Uber is doing things that are crooked, illegal, and dangerous. You would have to be an IDIOT to do rideshare in 2025. Uber should not exist. We have managed to get around long before Uber/Lyft. There is no reason to get in a 🚗 with a random stranger. It's completely unprofessional.)
