Procare Refill Kit for Disc Cleaning and Repairing Kit

The Procare refill kit is definitely necessary to have extra refill kit pods for this device also this machine works great I have my doubts at first and also I'll read other reviews, what customers need to know is follow the instructions and you should be fine it does repair DVDs, also be careful about some of the negative views some of these people may not be following the instructions, all I can truly say is I have my doubts and I had some DVDs that did fix I'm impressed also I'd like to say I'm going to be buying me another one of the units the Procare unit again I like it that much

I purcjased this kit a feq daus ago. I was truely amaized with this product. Not only did it remove scratches but restored the surface and cleaned my CD's really well. I'd recommend this to anyone interested.

They say the pads can only do 50 cleanings well I put that to the test and I got way more out of this in my procare system I used the pads for the entire collection of 150 discs and they were dirty discs this cleaned, buffed and repaired many discs to make them work. And it did all 150 discs were saved

First of all the pads were not the same thickness as the original(some of them were to thick, the red ones were fine), and second of all the repair liquid was not as thick as the original and it didn't work as well as the original, but it does a kind of good job. Don't know if I will buy it again.

This is my back up cleaner for my large CD and DVD Disc's.

Works OK for short time. I find when I use it, buffing can fix 90% of playing problems, but is a very poor value for the money. The pads have a very short life span and need replaced way more often and sooner than stated. Buffing pads are stated as 50 uses before needing replaced (only if you brush each pad thouroughly after EACH use). I find you have to buff mutliple times to fix things and after maybe about 30 uses (even though I am thouroughly brushing the buffing pads after each use. After about 30 buffings they are pretty ineffective and need replaced) so I have to change out sooner than stated. I have to buy a kit with all 3 different pads with new cleaner just to replace the buffing pads. And that means 2 buffing pads are very expensive paying for a whole kit with disk cleaning and repair fluids along with replacement cleaning and repair pads; all that I am not using. It would be more cost effective if you could buy a bulk amount of the buffing pads as those wear out quicker than the manufacturer states. With the cost of this and the high cost for 2 pads that need replaced often, it would be more cost effective to purchase dvd disk repair kits that while are much more expensive to purchase they will acheive better resutls with neeeding to replace pads less often.

I use these kits frequently due to over the years and having a young daughter. On deep scratches it can take a while. It may not be perfect but much better than what they were!

I love it! As soon I received I clean my favorite CD. Works perfectly. Not sure if is for deep scratches. So far the cds I clean work perfect (you know when your favorite song skips).
