This thumb brace worked well as it kept my thumb straight which is what I wanted due to tendon problems in my thumb. It has a removable metal piece that means it can be hand washed. I am not super keen on the colour as it stands out too much but great that the item can be worn on both left and right hands. There is an extra velcro circle inside the strap which I found helps keeps it in place. The material has gone a bit fuzzy where the velcro attaches but this is typical of these types of straps when you have to keep removing them so it was expected. There is also adjustable velcro for the thumb to help customise the fit. It was comfortable and I thought it was good value for money.

This was brilliant, I had Trigger Thumb diagnosed by the doctor who advised to use a support. I wore this for several months and now my thumb is back to normal. It's washable, comfy to wear as neoprene and velcro fastening so can fit snugly around your hand. It looks quite pleasing to the eye compared to some other hand supports. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this as I had injured my thumb and needed it supported so I could play in a sports competition. The brace is good in that it keeps your thumb rigid but the metal that aligns the thumb can bend to give you a little movement, or so that you can adjust the position of your thumb. I have small wrists and so the brace, even though it says one size fits all, didn't fit very well around my wrists. The support was good during day-to-day tasks for stopping any pain in my thumb, and keeping it from being harmed further. However, it's poor fit made it useless for playing sport in - the purpose I originally bought it for. Instead I used kinseology tape to strap my thumb up during sport and that worked much better.

Delivery was quick . I wanted it for the pain at the base of my thumb (caused I think by over use of my mouse or old age ) Easy to put on and adjust for the correct fit . I have small female hands and by adjusting it , the top of the thumb part came to just below my thumb nail . I wore it at night when sleeping ( it was comfortable ) The pain was greatly reduced the next day , I've kept wearing it at night and now have no pain . I've had it for approx 2 weeks

This arrived in an Amazon cardboard wrap and inside was a cardboard box with the brace inside. The box was a little squashed but it was not a gift so not a problem. The first time I wore it I did not get the angle right and it swallowed my whole thumb. The second time I found a little circle of velcro on the first wrap of the brace pressing into my hand. The third try was much better and my thumb is much better for the protection it offers. It stops my joint from going into painful positions and allows me to use a computer mouse without further damage. I take it off to cook, wash etc but keep it on most of the time. Just a couple of things to note. If you have a very large thumb you might have difficulty fitting the thumb fastening without the velcro pressing onto your thumb and similarly there is a little circle of velcro on the inside of the first layer of wrap that goes along the back of your hand, this needs to attach to the wrap that comes down from the thumb across the palm area. If you have wide hands this might make the brace a little tight - it would have been much better if they had put this little circle on the outer layer of the palm bit of the wrap as it is really uncomfortable if you find even a small part of it pressing into your hand.. Other than these small niggles the brace is doing it's job and after a week of use my thumb feels much improved.

I get intermittent problems with the joint at the base of my thumb and use this brace when needed. It does help relieve the pain and although it cannot cure the problem it does ease things for a few days. It is not something to wear all the time but a few hours use seems to do the trick for me. It is quite easy to put on but is better if you can get someone to help to get the tension when fastening the first bit of velcro as it tends to slip around the wrist when you do it yourself one handed.

This thumb brace for me was useless. I have rheumatoid and osteoarthritis in my hands and suffer especially with thumb pain making me not use my thumb. I’ve been looking for something to give support to help ease the pain and hopefully make it more useable again. This support, although says one size fits all, doesn’t support my thumb at all. It is extremely difficult to put on without help from someone but the thumb part wouldn’t tighten enough round my thumb to give any support at all. There was gaps all round and I could move my thumb within it. It made my thumb more painful. Now I decided I’m I’ll return it and try another only to find there is a no returns policy with this item. So make sure before you buy it’ll support you properly and do the job you need it to. For me it’s not fit for purpose. I know everyone’s hands are different and what doesn’t work for me will for many others but you’ve not got the luxury to return it if it’s no good for you

I bought this support as the splint I already had was very restrictive and wouldn’t allow me to operate my car’s handbrake which meant I had to remove the splint each time I drove. This one gives enough support for my trigger thumb problem with just enough flexibility to enable me use my hand brake and drive safely. Easily adjusted and fitted. I was so pleased I purchased a another one.

I was recently diagnosed with pretty debilitating CMC osteoarthritis of the thumb joint. I bought several braces and this one was the the most effective in eliminating pain and also for protecting me from further injury. It was especially useful for sleeping. After getting this one, I had an expensive custom brace made in OT, which I now use in bed. But I'd say that they are both are equally effective. It's too restrictive for tennis, but I find I can use it successfully for weight lifting and gardening. And wearing it at night seems to have allowed for reduction of inflammation because I'm now pretty pain-free during the day if I'm careful, even without the brace.

Good support of the thumb and flexible band to adjust tightness. Good bulit quality and workmanship. Came from the UK. Took a while.
