Worked om Android
Great price. And for those wondering, I was able to initialize it, set the sampling rate, record and download the data all with a modern Samsung Android phone using the Elitech iCold app. There was no full desktop/ laptop connection required.

A Super Handy Device That I Didn't Know I Needed!
We have been having problems with excess water build up and overflow in the drip pan of our Sub-Zero refrigerator. The heater that is supposed to evaporate the water doesn't seem to be working properly despite multiple repairs. But how do I prove it isn't working correctly? Enter the Elitech Data Logger GSP-6. I set it to record temperature at 1 minute intervals. I now have a clear graph of a week's worth of data showing how the temperature of the water in the drip pan cycles between 72 and 82 degrees every few hours, which is not enough to evaporate the water. A senior service tech is now scheduled, based on this data. Finger crossed. This device is a quarter the price of other brands of data loggers that I looked at. The software is perfectly serviceable (I'm on a Mac). I was a little unsure how to set some things up, but trial and error and poking around on the desktop app were enough, along with other users' comments in reviews. There are a lot of features in the "Parameters" tab so you can really customize how this thing works. It is super easy to unplug the unit from the sensor cable and plug it in to my Mac via USB to download the data. The re-connect the unit to the sensor cable to continue collecting more data. Some people complain that the English translation of the manual isn't that great. It's not, but you know what - who cares? At least Elitech does provide written documentation, unlike many companies today who give you a scrap of paper with a few pictograms to scratch your head to. I struggled with some of the wording, like "to start press the button until the light flashes out." What is flashes out? But once I figured out what they meant by "flashes out" I started used that expression myself. Altogether, this is a very reasonably priced product that is a must-have if you need to monitor temperature and want to download a graph and data of the results. Be prepared to put on your thinking cap to figure out the software, but it is worth a bit of effort. I haven't used the humidity sensor yet but it could be handy some day. For now I'm keeping the humidity sensor in the surprisingly nice box that the data logger is packaged in. The box is a high quality you don't see much of today and even has a nice magnetic closing flap.

Works okay after some effort
I use this for storing and packing out refrigerated COVID and other vaccines for my mobile clinic. It passes state standards and functions well but you HAVE to leave it running. Comparing this to 2 other loggers, one state supplied and the other installed on the fridge, it's pretty accurate. Had a hiccup after about a month where the temperature suddenly stopped working. I worked with the manufacturer and they replaced the whole unit. Turned out it was the cord for the glycol bottle. I was able to replace the battery with a regular AA battery when troubleshooting the issue before replacement and it was fine. However the battery has never died and I leave it running all the time. The software is a bit clunky but I really didn't expect it to be sleek and easy for the money. 🤷🏾♀️ You get what you pay for.

Great temp/humidity logger but requires an unusual battery
I have a couple of these loggers as companion pieces for my RC-5 + TE temperature-only loggers. These use the same PC app for plotting and recording collected data as the RC-5 although the interface looks different for these devices and there are some limitations on what you can plot. But if you need to capture accurate relative humidity plus temperature data, I certainly recommend these. Unlike the RC-5 loggers that use inexpensive and readily available CR-2032 coin batteries, these use a battery similar and shape and size to a AA battery, and they're not available just anywhere. You'll probably need to order them. They do last quite awhile.

I thought it was a great little measurement tool with built in logger - now nothing but problems
Updated review: Nothing but trouble. Disclaimer, I am having to mail this logger back and forth to the place of instrumentation and coordinate with someone else to set it up. However, the logger has not functioned all three times I have mailed it back and forth. Wasting time and money. The first time, it didn't trigger properly. The second time, it triggered, and then I we tried to stop it so we could re-start it the next day. Apparently that is not possible without plugging the thing into the software again (that is NOWHERE in the documentation), so had to send it back again to reset. The final time, everything seemed to trigger properly, the logger started counting up, but at the end of the logging period it just wiped all of the data and will no longer connect to a computer. Garbage. They need better software engineering on this thing. Original review: What a great little tool! I am only using it for temperature measurement of graywater, so I can't comment on the humidity function. Super easy to set up and configure in the free software. Really nice software that has some nice post-processing automatically done. The auto graphing function is really nice. Great little device! Only wish it had a bit more internal memory, as I want to log every 10 seconds and it maxes out at 1D 20Hr of time. That's a minor niggle though. Highly recommend.

Great, affordable data logger!
This is really a great tool for the price. I used it to log the temps. for a new "smart pump" that I installed for a client. Set it to log every minute and was able to discover an issue with cold water moving backwards thru the pump. Then I moved the sensor and discovered that the tank outlet temp. was set too high through the tempering valve and got these fixed before they became an issue. One reviewer said that the temperature on theirs was way off, mine was within 0.7 degrees (compared to a certified calibrated thermometer), the software allows you to add or subtract to adjust the calibration so that is a non issue. Other loggers that I looked at were either way more expensive or didn't have the features. This is a great tool for HVAC or plumbing trades to see how your setup is working without having to sit there and watch the unit all day. The parameter screen lets you set up everything exactly how you want it, turn it on and off in the field and download to a graph for simple view of what's going on, save as a JPEG for future reference. Temp. or humidity can be used separately or together. You do need to download it to a computer to view the data though.

Might be great --- TBD --- but initial user experience SUCKS.
This might turn out to be a great product --- I'll increment from my initial one-star rating if so later --- but the initial experience suggests that this likely tech-driven company doesn't think --- or care --- much at all about the user experience. No manual included with in the box. No link to where I can download a digital manual, I used an AI to find it, though it initially just turned up a bit of marketing fluff. The manual tells me to download software, but I can't copy the URL from their pdf. I convert the pdf to Word format but it turns out that the elements inside are images, pictures, so I still can't copy the stupid URL. So I type it carefully in, and I get to where I have to tell them a bunch of things about me and about my unit, to include whether it's a single use, dual use, or wireless data logger --- these distinctions don't appear in any of the product description, so back to the AI to find that it's a "multi-use". Then I find they don't offer software for Android, only Windows or Apple. It would be much easier for me to use my phone or tablet to connect with this rather than my desktop computer. So initial experience is a lot of frustration based on poor prep by the company. We'll see if it turns out to be worth it. ========================================== I'm changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars. The user interface and just overall user experience isn't great in using the now setup product either, but I hadn't understood (because it wasn't at all well explained ...) that although I was given only Apple and Windows options for setup, that was for setting up the part that goes on my desktop computer. There IS an app in the Google Play store called "Elitech iCold" that allows me to wirelessly download data from the unit onto an android phone or tablet. Though I noted with some concern when I downloaded the app from Google that there were ZERO reviews for it on Google Play store. But even using this was tricky. After setting it all up 2+ days ago, I brought up the app just now, logged in, and it showed my device but greyed out (this on my android tablet with the iCold app) --- not connected. I think it said something helpful along the line of "something went wrong". I fiddled with various settings in the app and I already don't remember what I did to get it to read connect to the device, but I recall getting up on my ladder to push the one and only button on it in case that helped (I can't say now whether it did or not). But then I was able to get a nice report, to include an option to generate a report in pdf format. Then I had to fiddle around, guess some more to be able to DOWNLOAD the report --- apparently 'generating it' just creates it inside the app but doesn't by default display it or save it anywhere. These people really need some basic training in user interface design, along with some user testing of the sort where you put a neophyte behind one-way glass and get humiliated watching them flail around at user interface choices that seemed so obvious to the geeky engineer creator (I used to be one of those, so I guess I can say that). Anyway, if you can work around and learn the UI ideosyncracies, the unit itself seems to work great. At least for the first couple or three days that I've had it anyway.
