Replaced 20 year old smaller gauge wiring for remote trolling motor and lithium battery. This is tinned for minimizing salt water corrosion and I reduced battery to trolling motor length reducing overall in line resistance and heat build up. This product is very high quality tinned copper enclosed in vinyl reducing concern for rubbing and wear of boat pounding waves etc. It was extra easy to route as one piece versus two single wires one hot and one negative. I'm super satisfied with its ease of installation and superior quality. I can already see the improvement in power to the trolling motor. I installed an inline circuit breaker with shutoff and new battery mount I should have done years ago. Great product that's hard to find an purchased all available at a good price on Amazon

I had copper clad aluminum and that was no working to power the power lift in back of my van to lift my power chair. The circuitry kept cutting out as the wattage was not coming through or the voltage dropped and the amps went up. This OFC pure copper wire works great. I didn't test the amperage being pulled but it must be lot less and the volts must be more with the less resistance as the lift goes up faster that ever and doesn't cut out. I also appreciate the thick protective coating as wire is tie wrapped along the C channel frame om my E150 van. What really impressed me was how easy the protective coating released from the conductors; not like the underground burial USB wire. The multi'strand 8 gauge wire was also very workable and flexed where i needed it to go.

Worked good for me move battery to back and trolling motor up front

Seems to be a good product. The individual conductor insulation isn't marked like you normally see with marine grade wire. Also a little stiffer then other brands I've worked with.

I used this for wiring a trolling motor in my boat. Running this wire from my console to my bow was so easy. It’s rigid enough to push through crevices and flexible enough to make tight turns. The sheathing is excellent quality and again makes running power and a ground at the same time extremely easy. I would 100% buy this again.

I had it in my boat awhile . Never had any issues with salt water getting into it.
