Worked well for me
Worked well for me. I don't have problems with my ears, so I chose to try this. My left ear was suddenly plugged one morning - boom. Just like that. After using this for 2 days I tried to rinse my ear with the rubber stopper you can get with this. Nothing. So I applied this 2 more times and, under the suggestions in reviews, I used almost hot water and I aggressively rinsed 3 times. And, just like that, it was clear. I suggest you not be overly gentle with the rinsing. I was at first and nothing happened. But I recommend this product!

Do you have ear nuggets? Probably, you just don't know it yet.
I regularly have issues with my ears, where if I use a q-tip they get plugged, or if I get water in my ear it feels like it takes FOREVER to get out. I recently went and got an annual physical at the doctor for the first time (I know I'm such an irresponsible adult) and while doing her little ear flashlight thing, my doctor was like "uh do you have any ear issues" and I said "um well sometimes I feel like they get a little plugged I guess?" And she goes "yeah not surprising since I can't see your eardrums around all thay wax buildup. We can flush them out here or you can do it at home." And me being me, I said I would do it at home and promptly did not. Well, then, two days ago, I woke up and my ear was a little plugged. I decided to try to go at it with a q-tip and long story short, I was completely deaf in my left ear for approximately 8 hours. So. Much. Plugged. So a little amazon/google research later, I ended up here looking at this product. I was a little nervous because I've never had good luck with liquid things going in my ears and not making things worse, but I thought hey, it can't get any worse really. Package arrived two days later and now we are HERE. Folks. Buy it. This is like head lice treatment. If you are looking at it and thinking about it, YOU NEED IT. And this stuff. Is. Awesome. You know those ear nuggets I mentioned? Literally chunks of ear wax came out of my ear holes the SIZE OF CORN KERNELS. Where was this coming from? Why is my body making so much wax? Where was it being stored because I did NOT think ear canals were that spacious, but apparently there are some storage closets in there or something because HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD the ear nuggets are real. I also bought two red "ear wax aspirators", they're red, like 6 bucks on amazon or something, they worked great. But if you have the bulb nasal aspirators for babies, those are basically the same thing and will also work. I let the drops sit (I dunno how many I used, I was desperate, probably 15?) for about 10-15 minutes and plugged my ears with cotton balls to keep the juice in like the directions say. There was a delightful fizzing nouse/sensation but no instant relief. I pretty gently rinsed out my first ear with nice warm water and nothing really came out, maybe just some flakes. So I went to my left ear and after the first rinse yielded a plugged ear and no nuggets, I cranked the water up to hot and really shot that water up in there and the chunks started flying. Ended up re-rinsing the first ear the same way with excellent results. My ears feel so squeaky clean! And get this, my hair makes sounds. Like I put it up in a hair tie afterwards, and I could HEAR MY HAIR MOVING ON MY HEAD. What is that?! Seriously?! If you also did not know that moving hair creates a sound, you need to buy this product ASAP.

Softens clogged earwax well, but required additional help for impacted wax
How FRUSTRATING it had been living for a week without the ability to hear much from one ear… aargh! It was clogged the day after stand up paddle boarding in the picturesque Newport Beach, California, harbor, and it felt like having been underwater with a ringing bell inside the head. Five days of Debrox Ear Wax removal and Debrox Swimmer’s Ear drops did nothing but contribute to continued irritation and a small amount of worry that something might have been wrong. Did I have impacted earwax, water stuck in the canal, an ear infection, or worse? First, we will go over what earwax is for, how it builds up, and how it can be removed. Finally, I will share how my ear was finally cleared after five days of trying various remedies. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: My review is for informational purposes only. I am not a doctor, and you should seek a qualified, medical professional for advice, diagnosis, or treatment. EARWAX PURPOSE Ear wax, an oily, waterproof barrier, is naturally produced by the body to trap and keep out bacteria, fungi, dirt, and other contaminants from reaching the highly sensitive, easily-damaged ear drums. It also keeps water from irritating the ear canal skin. According to the Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, Throat doctor, or ENT), wax is automatically expelled by the ear like a conveyor belt, and in normal circumstances, you do not have to do any regular cleaning. BUILDUP CAUSES There are many reasons for earwax to build up, and even if most of the canal is blocked, it does not lead to noticeable hearing loss. What does contribute to blockage is the use of cotton swabs and other objects that likely push wax in deeper into the canal. In my case, the left ear produces wax so fast, its waste management facility has difficulty keeping up with removal. Furthermore, I did sometimes use cotton swabs (despite every physician’s warning) to remove some wax and relieve an itching ear canal. The use of in-ear headphones and earbuds, such as Apple AirPods, can contribute to infection, push wax deeper into the canal, and prevent natural wax removal. REMEDIES According to KidsHealth, if a child has earwax buildup or a blockage, it’s best to see a pediatrician. Do NOT try to remove wax yourself even with the remedies that helped clear my latest blockage. You would risk permanently damaging your child’s hearing! Regular, warm showers or baths should be enough for earwax to naturally be removed. EARWAX SOFTENING - Hydrogen peroxide - Baby oil - Debrox Ear Wax Removal One should be aware that once wax has been softened, it should immediately be flushed out with a bulb syringe (filled with WARM — not hot or cold — water) to keep it from re-solidifying and settling into a worse state. EAR IRRIGATION According to several, medical sites, irrigation should NOT be attempted if you have an ear injury, hole in the ear drum, or had a medical procedure done on the ear. Consult your doctor first! - Bulb syringe - Earwax irrigation removal kit Rinse the ear with WARM water. Using too hot or too cold water can cause dizziness. DOCTOR'S HELP An ENT doctor can help irrigate, vacuum, or scrape out excess wax. In fact, my Otolaryngologist suggested that like annual health checkups or dental cleanings, I should consider coming in for ear cleaning once a year. Thank you, but I would not go there and pay $60 per visit if effective remedies were available. OTOSCOPE Out of curiosity, I purchased a wireless, battery-operated Oxbird Otoscope to see what was happening inside both ears. It involved carefully navigating the ear canal while viewing the live video feed on a smartphone app (both Android and Apple iOS are supported). I had not been this nervous in a LONG time… a small mistake could permanently damage my hearing! - Unaffected RIGHT ear was looked at first to see how far I could insert the otoscope before it got too close to the ear drum. It was pretty gross of a view! - Clogged LEFT ear was inspected with the LED-lit camera until it was greeted by a wall of alien-looking goo from a horror movie The entire time, I had both elbows on the table and was extremely nervous about making any mistake or getting too close to the ear drum with the otoscope. I had no idea what to expect while going into the ear canals! Remember, just a slight touch of the ear drum could rupture it. EAR IRRIGATION Now that I had finally confirmed that the left ear was indeed impacted by earwax again, I attempted to carefully scrape a bit off with the Oxbird Otoscope. That was VERY nerve-wrecking! I eventually stopped because I was not sure how close to the ear drum I was and took a look at the other product that sounded promising: Doctor Easy’s Elephant Ear Washer. The premise of the Ear Washer was simple: fill it up with very warm water and pump to irrigate. The first test pumps were gently and carefully done, and some wax washed out into an Ear Wash Basin. Then I pumped more vigorously and suddenly, a large piece of wax was dislodged to the bottom of the basin. My mind was BLOWN. Holy smokes! A photo can be seen towards the end of this article. For giggles, I irrigated the good ear and was surprised to see a fairly large piece wash out too. It was smaller than the other ear’s, however. I was sold and may have finally found a product that can aid with the regular removal of excess wax buildup without having to see an ENT specialist at a cost of $60 per visit. FINALLY A SOLUTION I was ecstatic and enthusiastically told my wife that I could hear again! She gave a small smile, gave a congratulatory look with her eyes, and went back to what she was working on. Well, my readers, I hope that you can share in the celebration if this article had helped you with your earwax build up or blockage. To recap, here is what I had tried for the past week: - Debrox Ear Wax Removal to loosen the wax twice daily, though it appeared ineffective for the blocked ear - Hot showers with a bulb syringe spraying warm water into the ear - Oxbird Otoscope to view the ear canals with its companion video app - Doctor Easy’s Elephant Ear Washer to send a jet stream of very warm water into the ear canals to flush out a mine field of wax, including the mother of them all: impacted wax nearly the size of half a nickel - Ear Wash Basin to catch anything coming out of the ear during irrigation Remember that children under 12 years of age should not be using the Debrox Ear Wax Remover or Doctor Easy washer and should consult the pediatrician instead. You should also seek medical advice from a qualified professional before attempting anything I had described here. This article simply describes my experience and what worked and did not work for me.

Needs Dispensing Applicator
I think the product is great, but for me using this on my own with no help, it's difficult to never touch the tip of the applicator to my ear. This likely kills the peroxide due to contamination of the product. Plus, how do I know when I've gotten ten drops in the ear canal? This product could only be MORE effective if they could include a reloadable applicator to use instead of having to use the main vial. Another route they could take would be to make individual use capsules.

Works great
If I could give this a 10 star review I would. Put 2 drops in my kids ear before bed. Due to being completely packed with wax and not letting anyone touch the ear. In the morning all the wax was liquid and easy to remove. This product worked great and not issues with clean up. Well worth purchasing and trying.

Lifesaver! Gentle, Effective, and So Easy to Use 👂✨
The Debrox Ear Wax Removal Drops are truly a lifesaver! They’re incredibly effective at breaking down ear wax and leaving my ears feeling clean and clear. The microfoam action works quickly, and you can actually feel it doing its job without any discomfort. The comfort level is excellent — gentle enough for sensitive ears while still powerful enough to get real results. The ease of use is fantastic — just a few drops, wait a bit, and rinse. It’s that simple! The thickness of the formula is just right — not watery or runny, so it stays where it needs to without dripping. Cleanup afterward is effortless, and the ease of cleaning makes it perfect for regular ear maintenance. I also appreciate that it’s battery-free, meaning there’s no battery life to worry about — just pure, effective ear care in a simple bottle. Overall, the quality, effectiveness, and comfort make this a staple in my medicine cabinet. Five stars — it works exactly as promised and truly lives up to the “lifesaver” name! 👂💧

The product worked great, highly recommended. Just be patient and read the instructions. On the second day, I suggest you start using something to gently spray water and flush the ear.
