Worker Plus Trouser

Can't fault these trousers. As far as works trousers go these seem to be a better fit for me than most I've had. They are quite light but also heavy duty and hard wearing. There is plenty of pockets on them and my belt fits secure around the waist. They are also a tidy colour and they look good. A very reasonable price for decent,quality work trousers in my opinion. I'm really happy with mine. Thanks !!!

Good tough trousers. Good thing too is that you can put the holster pockets in the front pockets when they are not needed. If they are flapping about . Perfect. comfy etc all round excellent.

This purchase was the direct result of observing a local electrician at work and the trousers seemed both attractive to look at and practical as working clothing. The electrician confirmed that they lasted about one year of hard use and were a regular purchase which he considered very good value. My own use for such trousers is to do with photography which frequently requires kneeling to get suitable angles. This can be on poor as well as wet surfaces. Normal jeans rapidly get baggy around the knees and lose their colour and are simply not hard wearing enough for this purpose. The Scruffs as bought are described as 30 inch waist and short leg. That would normally mean 29 inch inner leg. These were nearer to 30.5 inches in length which would not normally be described as short. Fortunately this was soon rectified by my wife by her machining the leg up by the amount of the reinforced bottom of the leg which was folded under before sewing. (5 minutes). They now fit perfectly and there is no external evidence of the adjustment. The waist is also on the generous size - more like 31 inches but it was the leg length that was the main problem. Fortunately the reinforced knee kneeling pads are still perfectly positioned when kneeling down. In every other respect these are well made with secure seams that will sustain heavy use. The generous range of storage pockets of many shapes and sizes are imaginative in design and position and seem likely to be fit for most, if not all, purposes. The 35% cotton and 65% polyester trouser material is both hardy and with enough breathability to offer hard wearing with control over over-heating when working. Apart from the leg length problem, mentioned by several other reviewers regardless of waist measurements bought, these represent excellent value and would certainly be bought again when and if they ever wear out. The leg length problem will certainly need reducing as described above if the purchaser is expecting a normal short leg length. Hand sewing would be difficult because of the tough material so a sewing machine is more suitable as well as being neater, quicker and probably more durable.

I find these trousers are comfortable and durable. They fit well to size and are comfy to wear all day. Material is strong and durable. I find a pair lasts between 1 and 2 years depending on what I'm doing so excellent value for the price. There are plenty pockets. In additional to the "normal" 2 front and 2 back pockets there are cargo pockets which are great for carrying larger items or screws, etc when working. Ive used Scruffs trousers for many years now and always come back to them as I've not found anything better at this price point.

Great trousers, good length, fast delivery

Waist is an exact size and good Material. Plenty of pockets to put things in.

First of all I have to mention that I do like the material on these trousers - it’s dense, looks hardwearing and all the seams have been precisely stitched. I also like the many useful, good-sized pockets and the fact that a sturdy fly zip has been incorporated which operates smoothly. I was additionally happy with the comfort they offer and the waist size I chose. However, I was disappointed by the leg sizing of the grey ones I received - especially as they cost more than the other colours in the range. Frankly, I wasn’t bothered about the colour, but chose the grey because that was the only pair in the range that states a 28in inseam (see pic) which is ideal for my 5ft 7in height - in reality the inseam on my pair measured 32in! I probably could have returned the trousers, but I went to the extra expense of having them turned up (cost £12). My other gripe was with the knee pad enclosures, they sit off centre to the knees so they look rather strange when I have the Scruffs pads inside them. The bottom line folks is that I would still consider another future purchase of Scruffs trousers, but only if I can try them on first in a retail outlet.
