Great for many different reasons
This alarm clock pins to your pillow case and slips easily under your pillow. It's easy to set and has 4 or 5 different levels of intensity. It will definitely wake you up in the morning. It's great for people who: 1) are deaf or hard of hearing 2) don't want to wake their partners with a noisy alarm 3) wear earplugs for whatever reason (partner snores, live in a noisy neighborhood, sleep during the day, etc) Just set the clock & the alarm, choose the intensity of the shaking (vibration) you want, close the clam shell, and slide it under your pillow. You're all ready to go. When it's time to wake up, you'll have to open the clamshell (which will become second nature, but it's a little clumsy at first), and silence the vibration by pushing the farthest button on the right to get up, or hit the button on the front to snooze for nine minutes. At first, it might be difficult to get the hang of opening the clamshell while you're half asleep, and you'll probably actually hit the snooze button more times than you want, but that's ok, just press the button farthest on the right to turn it off, or go ahead and snooze. Before you know it, you'll be flipping that shell open without any problems. Now you should know you only get two snoozes before it shuts off. Some people complain about the snooze button being too easy to push, but as I just explained, it doesn't matter if you accidentally (or on purpose) hit the snooze and want to get up before it goes off again. Just turn it off by hitting the "off" button on the far right. Now, inside there's also a switch that allows you to turn it off permanently. This is for times when you won't need it to go off at its regular time. For example, if you got up early that day and won't be around to turn it off when it starts buzzing, just turn it off completely. Just remember to turn it back on the next time you'll need it to wake up. It appears to also have a sound alarm, but I've never used that, so I don't know how exactly that works. I believe it goes off WITH the buzzing. This is the second alarm I've purchased, because we left the first one at a hotel in Georgia by accident (I forgot to unclip it from the pillow, which keeps it from vibrating off the bed). I don't hear very well anymore thanks to the chemo, so sometimes the alarm on my phone doesn't wake me, so I had to get another one. I love this little guy!

Best alarm clock
One of the best alarm clocks I ever had, my hearing loss is close to severe hearing loss however my hearing for bass is good and this little alarm clock works perfectly fine because putting it at 100 percent vibration works perfectly fine to wake me up! Everyone has different hearing needs. Easy to set up, Brightness is well lit, The display is readable, strong shell all around, setting the time is rest, battery holds up a long charge haven’t charged it in 2 weeks and it’s still on full charge. Must buy!!!

Easy to use and effective.
I’m trying to avoid my phone just before bed. That’s hard when my phone is my alarm clock. Here’s what I love about this so far: -I often set it in the dark before bed. The light isn’t bright enough for me to see the buttons, so I close the lid partially so the reflection of the screen shines on the buttons making them visible. It’s super easy to read the screen. (See pictures) -My destructive toddler loves to play with it. It is easy to reset the time of day and the time of the alarm. I do that every day now. He hasn’t tried destroying it, but he hasn’t been gentle either. It has survived despite being exposed to rough handling. I appreciate that most of the time he does not change anything (you have to hold the button for 2 seconds,) but it is super easy to verify everything at a glance. -I hate loud noises, so I’ve never even sampled the sound. The vibration has 5 settings which are perfect to wake me up. I always hit the “snooze” bar that is easily hit on the outside of the alarm. 9 minutes later, it goes off again. It’s easy to open the alarm when you are awake, but I’ve found it challenging to open when I’m still asleep. That’s perfect because I don’t open the alarm to turn it off after the first alarm. This is my second purchase. The first was for my deep sleeping teen in the teal color. Worked great for her. I got white and refer to it as my “sleep egg.” I have been using this for at least 1 month. My teen used hers for about a year. Highly recommended!

Oval alarm clock, wakes me up at 4:30am!
The good: I have been sleeping with this alarm clock for 1 week straight so far and it has done a great job at waking me up at 4:30am every morning. I use the vibration mode on 20% with no sound - perfect not to disturb anyone else. I like that this clock has a lit up screen but also a cover so that it does't stay bright all night long. I use the string attached to the device to tie around my bed post so that if the alarm clock gets dislodged I can find it easily. The bad: although there is a snooze and vibrate-off button on the rim of the case, it is not intuitive or easy to open the the alarm clock and access the alarm settings. It would be great if it had either a button/spring mechanism that would pop the lid open, or texturized area to grab and open - a little more thoughtfulness would be nice in regards to build quality. But because it's oval both the "front" and "back" of it are pretty much equal in tactile regards. (hence I removed 1 star) Otherwise I like this alarm clock, especially for the price point. I will certainly continue using it.

Works great for me
I love how no cords for my b kitties to chew or unplug and make me miss my alarm I love having that reassurance after b a few close calls I picked up this design, the vibration level can be changed and 100% is do b much vibration it would have to wake the deepest sleeper the alarm sound not the loudest I’ve heard but in combo with the vibration it works fantastic for those deep sleepers also super easy to set time/alarm and love how it is rechargeable and you can turn it off during the day to save that battery for even infrequent charging

I'm almost completely deaf and this alarm with shake wakes me!
This alarm clock works well for me, the combined shake and alarm wake me. I have reached the point in my journey to deafness, where a phone alarm and wrist watch shake didn't wake me. I like the small shape and easy set. Light weight, slides under my pillow. Haven't needed to charge it since the first charge.

only one downside, there is no options to put 2-3 alarms. otherwise it;s good, you will wake up immidiately

Strong vibration is felt through pillow. No annoying ticking noise. Loud ringing. It definitely wakes my teenage daughter, who is very hard to wake at 6.30am. This is her 3rd alarm clock, only one to work effectively.

Overall I like this alarm clock. I’m completely deaf in one ear, & if I happen to be lying on my other ear, I don’t hear even the loudest alarm. The vibration on this one wakes me up, I haven’t slept through it once. - Has a nice carry cord, which I attach to the wrought iron bed head, so it doesn’t end up on the floor. - Holds a charge well - I’ve had it over a year & probably charged it four times, & even the it wasn’t low, I was just anxious about missing work! - Doesn’t need to connect to a separate clock or phone via a cable, doesn’t need a separate clock at all, which is a bonus. Cons: - It’s over an inch thick & I don’t sleep on a fat pillow, so it’s too big to put under my own pillow. I just put it under the pillow beside me, but if you have a partner, they might object to that! - Too difficult to find the off button, while the snooze button is big & very sensitive- very easy to hit it if you’re not quite awake or you tend to sleep with a hand under the pillow. - Doesn’t have a dual alarm - I’m currently shopping for a different clock as I often need to get up on my days off, but not at 0530! - If you’re in Australia, it’s designed for USA electrical sockets, so you’ll need an adapter - not expensive or hard to buy.

the charging cable is not compatible with Australian power points ZERO STARS. Wasted my time and now have to go through the process of getting a refund after i return it!!
