sticks great , its only been a few days since i have used it , and still is very sticky . the recent open heart surgery cut seems to look way less pink and seems to be working even though its a few days. i even sleep with it on and no issues like i have read - it is very sticky, but easy to remove .and can be used over and over . after time it just looks dirty , used , and beat up from use, but this is normal wear an tear. another thing i like is i dont have to use tape and guaze to cover the cut, i dont like looking at this scar and this tape is awesome, it does 2 things, it covers the wound/scarand sticks great without any use for other tapes, and it hides the pink/raw cut. u can still see through it a little , but all in all i dont see a raw cut - im happy with this so far - i will update in a few weeks with the outcome --UPDATE ---its 2 weeks since i wrote the review , the color of the scar is great, it is not that ugly raw pink color anymore . it is healing great, and im sure this has helped a great deal.. the scar looks good, i hate looking at it , but this has made it a little easier, not being so raw looking. i will be using this for a few months to see how well it heals - this is a new incision, not an old one .so i cant speak about old scars. i will update here an there, to help some1 decide to try it or not , but im very pleased so far. not only does it cover the wound , but it can be used over and over , im not spending money on tape and guaze anymore, it sticks great to clean dry skin and is easy to remove . it changed the look and color of this new incision so far.3 years update. The scar from the surgery is very hard to see I used the tape for a full year and a half limited the length of time it was on and kept it on when I felt like I didn’t want to be reminded of my cut. I’m not sure if it was my doctors great work or this tape. But I’m verrrry pleased and happy with the scar I look at daily. I’m sure this had a lot to do with the healing of the cut. 100% love this tape. I have this in my cabinet still to this day.

Great value and results!
I recently purchased this scar tape as well as one much more expensive. This is the one I am buying more of. I have about a 5” long scar from shoulder surgery. I did Not use the tape for the first month after surgery, waiting til the incision was fully healed and scabs we’re gone. I have been using the two tapes for about a month and LOVE the results. The site has healed and flattened out and lost almost all discoloration. I kind of alternated between the two tapes, not seeing much difference in stickiness or adherence but prefer this one because it was much less expensive. Also, it is a wee bit wider than the other, making it easier to place on longer scars. Although my scar is right where my arm meets my torso and receives quite a bit of movement through out the day, the tape has never become in stuck nor curled on the edges. It has survived all my Physical Therapy appointments. The silicone seems to keep the area flexible. I can’t say much about washing and reusing because I pretty much just put a new piece on each morning, removing it at bedtime. I chopped my roll into the correct size for my scar and put the pieces back in the box, just using one each day. I also did cross friction scar massage for a minute or so each evening while the tape was still on. I couldn’t be more happy with the results!

Simply the BEST for SCARS!!!! Don't buy the expensive silicone strips!!
I was buying silicon strips for a big patch of keloid scar on the back of my hand sustained from a bad motorcycle crash. I bought this in addition to the other very expensive kinds, as this is cheap and highly reviewed, without any expectation. I now absolutely have given up the other thick juicy kinds that just don't stay put!!This stuff is thin, sticky and therefore pliable enough for secure contact with my hand, and a strip just lasts and lasts and lasts! I can even wear my motorcycle glove over it without peeling it off like the expensive kind (which I would lose in bed simply from moving about in my sleep). Of course it survives hand wash and showers. My keloid scar is much flattened and softened and I'm planning to just wear it to protect the scar from abrasion with gloves, sun and other elements. A month and a half has passed, I only used four 3-inch strips!I switch between 2 strips every day or two (I peel it off to give the skin a breather every day or when I get really sweaty in the hot summer, this can get a little funky underneath due to being waterproof and not breathable). I wash the one with hand soap to air dry, put the other one on. The only reason I'd throw a couple away at all, is due to the perimeter getting rubbed and dirty from me wearing motorcycle and gardening gloves. I think for normal folk that don't wear gloves, this one box will easily last half year or more, especially if you just use scissors to trim off the dirty worn out edges.

high quality product, but has its cons
PROS:-it worked fast for me. i saw improvements within a week (new scar) and it really felt like it quickened the process of my scar settling and getting to a place where it can begin to fade. i had my surgery only ~2.5 months ago, but i can already press and drag on the scar to drain out the blood and see what it'll look like after it's done fading (if that makes sense). saved me several months of healing time!-i can shower and sleep in them without issue, so they stay on me all the time-easy application and removalCONS:-the perforated lines often tear while the tape is on my skin, which can make them frustrating to remove, clean, and put back on. it also leaves little gaps in between the squares and some of my scar would be exposed and not getting its treatment.-i had to change them every 5-7 days, which isn't that often, but it's quicker than what i hear a lot of people saying. they'd lose their adhesion and would get dirty, and the edges would often fall off and not stay on after 3 or 4 days, though my scar is pretty long.-i'm personally going to take a break from these after ~1.5 months of using them because i feel like i need to work on softening and loosening my scar, which is something this product isn't good for.
