I bought this while I was experiencing severe back and knee joint pain. Worked beautifully. Within 5 minutes of activating it knocks the pain out. Small enough to carry in your purse and discreet enough to wear under clothing.

Having used Tens machines for years due to my bad back got 4 wored discs in my lower. I thought I would try this wireless machine. It's fairly easy to use but the downside is that when it comes to putting on your back you can't reach the buttons on the control pad let alone know what setting you have put it on. I have to feel around to find it. Not ideal if you are on your own and need to do this. But if you can master the touch and press then you do feel the benefits. It has a number of settings but no explaination as to what does what best.... Tens machines do benefit back or any other muscle problems, also make sure you stretch and get a proper massage that helps too.

Use of this stops the need for pain killers,[ I need a hip replacement] I can walk aroud with on at any time, Have had a mini tens 422 for two years,its still in use,Tried to replace that but it seems to have gone off the market. Also have the larger one with 4 pads for use at home,

I pulled a muscle in my buttock, the pain was severe. I was in a dilemma as how to help myself. The doctor recommended painkillers and massage. It was difficult to reach the area. My friend suggested the tens machine. It was easy to use and very effective. I could feel the small charges affecting the area.

This mini tens machine is far to small even with my glasses on I still couldn’t see the tiny screen, and then it kept falling off, the battery kept going dead after1 day so I had to keep changing the battery having said all of that the positive thing is even though it’s small it did it’s job it definitely helped with my pain.

When I write a review I am as brutally honest as possible so this product will be addressed in the same manner.CHEAP CHINESE GARBAGE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.This machine is nothing more than a gimmick. The controls are tiny and very difficult to set. The term " WIRELESS " is quite misleading as you would be expecting something that is remotely controlled, this is not the case. Just to clarify matters, you receive a tiny vibrating piece of plastic and a sticky pad. You then attach then attach the plastic box onto the pad and then you have to set the box to operate as you require. Problems now start. Firstly there are ten possible programmes of which you will not know what does what as this is not explained in the very brief instructions. So you decide you will start at programme one, you place the pad on the sore spot for example your back. You then have to reach back to try and adjust the intensity and you will find this is very difficult. So off comes the pad and the box as it is impossible to remove the box from the pad as you cannot get the box to reattach itself if the pad is left on your back. More problems, when you then proceed to adjust the levels whilst you are holding it then you will receive a nasty shock. If through trial and error you manage to get the pad and box put onto your back and you have just set back too relax do not be getting too comfy for within 15/18 minutes the battery will go flat and off you go through all that rigmarole again.This has been a learning curve for me and if I can prevent anybody else from going through the hassle then that is a good thing.I have just bought myself another machine for £4.00 more than the above rubbish and yes there are cables but you would be best to put up with these as they are tried and tested.Do not fall for the so called " wireless " set up as you will sorely regret itMartin

So disappointing as after 2 days the pad became unsticky and wouldn't stay on, have no intension of buying more pads for it as not worth it.

These come with a carry case not much bigger than an iPhone, so really handy to pop into a bag. There are several preset tens modes, so you have to work out which is best for you usually by trial and error. These aren't as good as a fully flexible one with your choice of speed etc, but great for popping into a bag or case to keep you going during the day.
