A great idea as they attract the flies and for the first time ever I have had no flies come into my hose; the downside is that they get a bit smelly when the dead flies start to rot and when you put them in the rubbish they stink the bin out which attracts more flies.

It works!!
First, the shipping was so fast!! I ordered a Saturday afternoon and received it at my door on Monday afternoon!! The product had clear instructions on it which were easy to follow. I hung the bag on the lamp right outside my patio door since the deer flies were the worst around my deck area. We built my deck for a week, and hundreds of deer flies kept ''attacking'' us and they sting which actually hurts and is really annoying! My legs are covered in bites! So that's why I purchased this product. The first day, there was only about 5 deer flies in the bag and they were still being annoying and stinging us, but the next day..... WOW!! The bag got fuller by the day, and were now Friday, and I would say there's at least 50-75 deer flies in there!!!! It's crazy!!! They haven't been bugging be in the mornings when I'm home, or in the evenings, but this weekend I'll try going outside in the afternoon (which is when they were the most annoying!) so I'm reaslly excited to see if there's a difference! With 75 flies in the trap, I think it's safe to assume there won't be as much flying around when I'm sitting on my deck! The only thing is that it does stink, it kind of smells like fish or seafood, but if there's wind where you hang it, it should help. However it's totally worth it! I'd rather smell a light fish scent when walking out the door (and then it doesn't smell when I'm sitting on my deck), than getting dozens of deer flies bites everyday!!

Funciona 😃 !
Espectacular! Funciona perfectamente.

Works well
Works well, has a bad smell though so don’t install it close to where you spend a lot of time in. Flies are reduced about 90%

Little Bag of Horrors
I really dislike flies but flies really like our back yard. Flies would get so bad that we couldn't sit outside to enjoy morning coffee. After looking at various products I decided to give this this one a try. I can honestly say I've never had a product do what it claimed it would do better than this simple little death trap. The install was easy. Find a location out of reach of pets, hang it up and add water. I agree with others that you do NOT want to hang this thing inside because of the smell(!), but it's OK as long as it is placed at least 10' away from people, preferably downwind. After a couple days it was catching flies in fine style. They buzz around during the day until they drift off into eternal sleep when it gets cold at night. Next morning the trap is back in business (back in buzzness?) when the sun comes up and it welcomes new guests. No need to leave a credit card for incidentals since new guests only last one day. I just came from the yard and my trap is teeming with flies -- at least a couple dozen inside -- and there are so many flies buzzing around outside the trap entrance that I almost called Air Traffic Control to help getting them all inside. I mean, really! OK...this part may be a little bit gruesome. How do I say this? These traps are Little Bags of Horror. The top part of the bag is clear enough to see through but from the "fill to here" line down it is opaque and for good reason. Floating on top of the water are an unknown number of dead flies. On top of them are the soon to be dead flies. But then I looked closer. There was something at the bottom of the bag. Could it be.....eggs??????? UCK!!!! The bottom of the bag is filled with fly eggs!! Eeewwww!!!! It's a grotesque, wriggling Halloween nightmare. This is not just a fly trap. It is a flycidle, serial killing death machine that wipes out generations of flies! So...does it work? You betcha, but keep it high an away from people and pets. Now if they can only come up with something this good for ants!!!

Good Results
I bought another fly trap, and this one is actually excellent. It doesn’t kill the flies, but it attracts and traps them in one area, pulling them away from the rest of the space. Once it’s set up, the flies leave you alone. One thing to note: it has a smell, so it’s best to place it about 20 feet away from where people gather. It works best outdoors. My suggestion is to use this trap to gather the flies, then use a fly spray to kill them while they’re concentrated around it. The combination works very well. Overall, I recommend buying it.
