I’m really impressed with this water bottle. The 500ml size is perfect for daily use and it fits easily into car cup holders and bags. The design is sleek and modern, and the black finish looks great. It’s completely leak-proof, which is such a relief – no spills in my bag at all. The flip cover is very hygienic and easy to open with one hand, and I like the secure lock that keeps it firmly shut when not in use. It’s also dishwasher safe, making it super easy to keep clean. The carry handle is very convenient, and the bottle itself feels sturdy but lightweight. I also appreciate that it’s BPA-free and carbon neutral – a nice bonus for health and the environment. Overall, this bottle is excellent quality, practical, and reliable. Definitely one of the best water bottles I’ve used, and I’d happily recommend it.

It’s perfect and exactly what I needed. Love the colour & its slender shape making it look chic and expensive.It has a leek proof lid that actually works, providing security when it’s in my handbag (making it suitable for children’s school bag too). It’s sturdy and well made & arrived within 24hrs of ordering. I would definitely recommend buying this as it’s great value for money. I have two of these now.

Firstly the pros: This bottle is excellent for one-handed use as a sports bottle; the locking mechanism works really well and is satisfying to use, the nozzle makes drinking very easy and water flows smoothly as your drinking it. This might sound silly but as a drinking experience I can't really think of a way to improve it. It's also really easy to clean as you can get to all of the parts easily and all of the soft components that contact the water can dry easily, avoiding the potential for black mould that I've experienced with other bottles. The so-so: The bottle is leak-proof, at least 99% of the time. I've had one occasion where the nozzle gasket got unseated slightly and wouldn't seal, but that was easy enough to remedy. The main issue is that occasionally the lid gasket gets slightly twisted from tightening the lid, which seems to cause spillages when drinking. Again, easily remedied but annoying when it leaks water down your shirt. The cons: I never really found a use for the handle, it's only small enough to fit a couple of fingers through which leads me to believe it's primarily designed to clip on to something, except there's no clip so you'd need a carabiner or something to attach it to anything. Mine had also snapped completely off after about 9 months. The spring lasted longer, just over a year before snapping, but due to the design of the lid you can't replace it which detracts from the ease of use as the lid can no longer flip up on its own. Replacement lids don;t seem to be available any more either so this can only be fixed by buying a whole new bottle. One of the primary reasons to buy a water bottle is to reduce the amount of plastic associated with drinking water on the go, so a bottle that only lasts about a year isn't ideal. All in all a great bottle, but the lid needs work on the durability front.

Great bottle. Been buying Ion8 bottles for years now..never disappointed. They last for ages. My whole family uses Ion8 and we only replace every couple of years. Used daily, no leaks and lightweight style. Wouldn't use anything else

STILL is the absolute best bottle I've ever owned. It washes well, no smells, easy to clean, light weight with wrist strap. Easy to use and durable. Don't even hesitate, just buy one.

I love this Ion8 500 ml water bottle! It’s the perfect size for taking to the gym, work, or on walks. For many years, I had a water bottle that I clipped to my belt loop with a carabiner clip. This made my life so much easier, especially since I’m disabled. Then the loop part of the bottle broke, and I couldn’t find a way to make it work again, nor were the bottles still on the market. I tried numerous alternatives, including extremely expensive, supposedly leak-proof options, to no avail. They didn’t live up to their promises and were impractical and awkward to clip on or carry. Then I found THIS. I am absolutely in love with this bottle. It ticks all the boxes — a sturdy loop to clip it on, a lid with a fantastic with flip mechanism that also fully covers the mouthpiece (especially important what with COVID going around — I don’t want some random coughing near my bottle and leaving their germs on the mouthpiece), it’s easy to clean, comfortable to handle (I love how it feels), I LOVE the colour (exactly what I was looking for), and it actually IS leak-proof. And as a bonus, there’s a little catch to lock the lid in place and prevent accidentally opening the lid, even though it’s never opened by accident so far. It’s a practical feature, and also a bonus if you’re young and carrying your water bottle while out having fun — this simple little catch makes it difficult for anyone to slip something into your drink without you noticing. I’d never even thought of it before I bought this bottle. While the clip is easy enough to use, it’s difficult enough that it can’t be unlatched surreptitiously. Just another bonus I hadn’t anticipated. Oh, and there’s no funny smell or taste to the plastic. I went ahead and bought three more in various sizes, to allow for longer trips out (bigger bottles) and to have backups just in case the worst ever happens and the bottle breaks somehow, although there’s been no indication of that at all. I cannot tell you how much I love this bottle! Absolutely recommended!

Vous savez, ce truc effrayant que personne ne veut ingérer ? Eh bien, pas de souci avec la gourde Ion8 ! Elle est fabriquée à partir de matériaux sûrs, sans produits chimiques nocifs, pour que vous puissiez boire en toute confiance. Santé et hydratation sans compromis ! La couleur bleue est plutôt réussie et peps. A vous de trouver une couleur qui vous fait vibrer ! La contenance de 500ml est bien je trouve car elle n'est pas trop grande. Pour un sac d'école au collège c'est le bon format. J'en ai plusieurs de différentes contenances ce qui permet d'adapter en fonction des activités. En terme de résistance, pas d'inquiétude, je dispose de 2 autres Ion8 qui servent quotidiennement depuis plusieurs années et elles sont toujours en bon état
