Great
About a decade ago, I installed one of these on my old Black Bear compound to replace the old rest that was on it. I love it it works great, has held up very well. I finally stepped into the 21st century and bought a Bear Marshal recently, I removed the Truglo drop away rest that was on it and installed this new ultra hunter. I'm not surprised or impressed simply because I knew exactly what I was getting, which is a very high quality, very functional, drop away arrow rest. One of my favorite things about qad design is that it captures the arrow so you can keep an arrow nocked indefinitely without having it come off your rest (unlike the Truglo or other drop away rests) only difference between the one I just bought here and the one I bought 10 years ago at Bass Pro, is that the one I bought at Brass Pro 10 years ago was $10 more expensive, at about $65, and the silencing felt was a slightly higher quality. When / if I get a new bow, regardless of what rest is on it when I purchase it, I will be replacing it with this same type of rest.( the reason I didn't take the old rest off of my black bear and put on this one is because I still shoot my black bear because it's fun to sometimes live in the past, even if it means shooting an inferior weapon LOL)

Great product for a great price
I recently purchased my first bow and have been shooting at the range daily for the past couple weeks. A person I met at the range highly suggested that I replace the brush type arrow rest that came on my bow with a drop away type. The particular one he was using costs around $150.00. After spending a great deal on my new bow purchase, arrows, case, etc., I really did not care to put out another $150 on a rest. I did a lot of searching and reading of reviews, and I came across this rest. For $45.00 I thought I would give it a try. First, mounting and adjusting is fairly simple. Although the included CD gives instruction for the wrong model rest, following the written instructions carefully, its not to tough. Because of my particular bow setup, and comments I read regarding fletching clearance and drop away speed, I decided to use the taller TL1 launcher that is included in the package. I immediately noticed that my top fletching would not clear the containment bar. For now, I am shooting without the containment bar and am looking for alternatives for something with better clearance. But without the bar, this thing works nice! In a very short time I noticed a very significant difference in arrow grouping.

Works great-but
I have been using the same arrest on another bow for approximately 10 years without issues. It is great. But, I have two complaints: 1- The instructions are glued to the back of the shrink wrap packaging. It is extremely difficult to remove all the parts without destroying the instructions, also there is no easy way to keep the instructions because they are not flat, they are glued to the back of the string wrap. The instructions should have been provided on a separate card. There is a separate card that is more or less an advertisement for the product but does not include complete instructions. 2- The hole for the small screw that retains the plastic arrow retainer was not tapped. I had to find a 1032 tap to make this work. No big deal but totally unnecessary. Other than these two items I would definitely give this product a 10.

BEST DROP REST FOR THE MONEY
This fits perfectly onto any normal design compound bow. I threw it on a cheap dragon bow from Amazon for bow fishing. It’s it’s honestly one of the best budget drop rests for the money.. don’t bother getting the Mathew’s branded drop, they just have one extra plane of adjustment measurements. Easy to set up, and drops in an instant, very durable design.

This thing rocks
So incredibly good. Drop away rests are a game changer. Increased my shooting distance. Impressive design. Keeps arrow in place.

Far from what I expected
Got it because of great reviews. Didn't fit perfectly at first but I figured out how to mount it on the bow. During this time, it worked exceptionally well. After some usage, the screw holding the bracket together, which clamped the arrow rest and release apparatus, came loose. Had to tighten it a few times; I made sure that I didn't overtighten. After tightening it too many times, the screw stripped the inside of the bracket so I had to replace the screw with a longer screw and bolt to clamp the brackets together (see photo), thereby sacrificing the top bar containing the rest. This wasn't much of an issue as it was an inconvenience. After several more shots, the two screws holding the rest piece on the release mechanism failed at the SAME TIME. One screw came off, and the other screw outright broke, leaving the broken end of the screw lodged inside the arm (see photo), which I can't remove without some kind of high-powered magnet or something. Now if I want to mount the rest back on the apparatus, I can only use one screw, which, evidently won't be enough to keep it on, seeing as how two wasn't even enough to begin with. There are way too many problems with this rest. Maybe I just have super bad luck and got a bad one. Oh well.
