Love this book series
This book series is absolutely awesome. My school aged son and daughter enjoy reading this book so much. This book not only has some suspense but also has some funny parts that my kiddos enjoy. I even catch them reading this book at night on their own.

Perfect Book Series!
As an adult, that sometimes reads children's book, I approve of this book series. It was cute, and fantastic. I actually bought it originally one day when I saw it in Wal-Mart && saw it was about "Barb". I couldn't pass it up - you don't find people still using any form of Barbara. This book is perfect for kids && I'll be buying more for the children in my life.

My 7 Year Old Daughter’s Favorite Series
My daughter absolutely loved the first book in this series so we gave her this as part of her birthday gift. This was the first thing she reached for after opening all her presents. The illustrations are vibrant and fun and the storyline (from the few pages I read with her) seemed to balance the right amount of humor with heart. It introduced her to new words but still seemed easy enough for her to follow along. Highly recommend for kids around 7-8 that also love the silly humor in DogMan and the adventures in Press Start.

Better than DogMan or Captain Underpants!
My 8 year old son loves the Barb the Berzerker series! As a mom I enjoy them too and find them a nice break from DogMan or Captain Underpants. The latest book is even better than the first and we are looking forward to the next book in the series. In both books, the writing is light-hearted and the illustrations are well drawn with comedic elements kids will giggle at.

Great series
My 8 year old loves this series! He is able to read most of this on his own with some occasional help from me

Strong female hero! Funny and admirable.
Love this series! We root for Barb and her quest along with her inclusion of those different from her. Full of fun and heart my 6 and 9 year old girls have read and re-read this book and anxiously awaited book two which was also wonderful.

She loves this character!
Bought book #1 of these and granddaughter talked about the main character for 2 weeks after finishing the book. So I pre-purchased this one as a gift and she went wild. Not a true tomboy but not a doll girl, my grandgirl is hard to hone in on an interest is hard to pinpoint. However this has her interest and that's good!

Barb is awesome!
This book series is about a strong female character with crazy mythical adventures. There's tons of humor and epic battles to be had. We're eagerly awaiting book 3. Fairly easy to read for my 8 year old, he loves these books.
