Separated kerosene and water with this 5 micron filter funnel

The biggest drawback is the fact that a residue of fuel remains the bottom of the funnel and then becomes a problem of where to pour it away.

This is excellent and delivered very promptly.

I had the dreaded diesel bug in port tank on my boat. Pumped the 25 gallons left in it through this and it came back nice and clean in to the starboard tank (I tested it first in to a large glass jar). Simple to use. very cheap (I will not even think of how much I was quoted to have this done professionally).I now use this in the tank fillers when filling up, largest amount (up to now) was 50 gallons, which it coped with.I would recommend using one to any boater as a safety measure. It was no fun getting back to my mooring on one engine and out drive.

This does not work.... I bought 2 thinking I must have ruined the first one by touching and wiping the filter membrane. I was wrong the 2nd one didn't work either, it let water go straight through like coming out of a tap infact the second was worse than the 1st. These are expensive nokoffs of mr funnel. Got t get the filter changed on me van as its telling me wzter is in the fiter repaired needed. Thanks amazon

Great for keeping water out of fuel, excellent product

Undoubtedly this filter works well to filter out water from the fuel. But my god there is such a waste in the bottom where the filter doesn’t go to the bottom. The design is absolutely rubbish to have so much waste fuel left over in the filter. This filter would be good if it didn’t have such waste

It does not filter water out effectively as claimed. For instance, put filtered veg oil throughout, then put it into a hot pan - the water bubbles sizzle. If you put new oil in a pan, no noise is made. Simple, effective test. What a waste of a lot of money.
