491498 FS 1400/2 Guide Rail,1400 mm

Purchased this to use with my Festool TS55 Track Saw. MAny complain about the price of any Festool product but in you want high quality engineered products it does cost extra. So if you don't want to incur the cost then don't buy it. As for this track it is no less than I have come to expect from Festool. That is, high quality product that works great out of the box. No complaints from me. Delivered in great shape within the time frame expected. V happy customer.

Why didn't i buy one years ago? As an amateur DIYer this has really improved my work. Yes it's expensive but worth it in the long run. I waste much less wood since getting this as my cuts are now so much more accurate.

A little more expensive than other providers but it is the ideal size for the job I needed it for. I only have the Festool insulation cutter and this spans a 2.4 x 1.2 insulation board to cut down to fit between joists. The cutter does not fit my Makita rail very well so I bought this one.

Use mine with a Titan saw from Screwfix which fits no problem, Much better than the 2x 700mm rails fitted together (no bumps on join!) that came with it. Does exactly what you would expect sits on the wood without moving thanks to the pads underneath and I will get a longer one when I win the lottery!

After reading the instruction, I tested it, it works butifully, No splinter on the material being cut. the only observation, It culd have been made more rigid; but not a big problem.

The rail performs as one would expect from a quality product.

It turn up on good time but it was damaged not happy.

Festool tools are without a doubt, just plain really nice. However, really nice has a price, and that is OK, but when you start to nickel and dime the user, well, I might put up a bit of a stink about that. So, $120 for this product, oh you want to join two together? Another $50 for that, And Oh, you really should have a splinter guard, another $40 please. Another supplier of fine tool accessories has a similar product that is $99 and comes with the connectors and splinter guard. But if you require Festool compatibility, well, there you go. Despite the fact I feel Festool goes out of their way to make their tools really expensive, I don't mind (too much) purchasing them. They are very high quality products, and I only bumped them down one star for being cash grabby. EDIT: OK, I am chastened. I just got the connectors for these rails, and, OK, the connectors are probably worth the $50 and Festool is not quite as cash grabby as I accused them. So, I would say that not only is the Festool System is very good, it is also worth what they are charging.

Habe mit 2 gekauft, die ich mit den FSV Verbindern von Festool verbinden kann um Sperrholzplatten zu zerteilen, damit sie auf die Kreissäge passen oder um sie gleich so zu verwenden. Die Schnitte mit der Handkreissäge TS 55 REBQ sind praktisch ausrissfrei durch die Gummilippe an der Kante und viele Schnitte sind auch ohne zusätzliche Befestigung der FS durch den Moosgummi auf der Unterseite der FS möglich. Das spart Zeit und man verrutscht trotzdem nicht gleich. Die TS 55 REBQ lässt sich durch die Exzenter praktisch Spielfrei auf die FS einstellen - da passt wirklich jeder Schnitt genau. Selbst zwei verbundene FS 1400 sind absolut gerade. Die TS 55 gleitet sehr leicht auf dem Alu. Nicht billig, aber wer damit mal gearbeitet hat freut sich einfach nur wie toll die Arbeit damit von der Hand geht.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Führungsschiene! Gutes Material, sauber verarbeitet und die Säge gleitet leicht über die Schiene.Genau wie man es von Festool kennt. Es gibt zwar in Sachen Führungsschiene günstigere Anbieter. Aber wenn man auf Qualität und Funktion wert legt, sollte es doch ein Originalprodukt sein. Was habe ich davon, wenn ich ein paar € spare und mich bei der täglichen Arbeit herum ärgere? Mal davon abgesehen, das der Preisunterschied nicht wirklich groß ist. Vor dem Kauf habe ich verschiedene Rezessionen gelesen. Viele waren der Meinung, daß bei anderen Produkten die Führung hackt und die Säge nicht richtig über die Schiene gleitet. Deswegen kam für mich nur das Original von Festool in Frage. Von mir eine klare Kaufentpfehlung
