Does the reindeer stand on its own or does it have to lean up against something?

Our reindeer was able to stand on his own. His legs are soft like his body but you can move them enough to make him stand alone.

Can the reindeer see and hear like the elves

Because the reindeer travel, they can see. They can hear because when it is very dark at night, hearing helps them to get around too. The elves and reindeer work together to keep an eye out watching what you do.

Does the reindeer change locations each night like the elf?

Since the elf is "magical" and is not to be touched the reindeer poses as "snuggle buddy" for children. It can also sometimes be a "partner in crime" to the elf. ;-)
