Works great, easy to change
[Photos are the manual that it comes with] I had one of these installed in my daughter's room as the wiring was going to be extensive. It's great. She has one switch on her bed and another by the door. The electronics that went in the light fitting broke after 3 years but I think that was because a fuse was blowing every few days (bad RCD, overpowerful oven). So I ordered a new one. Previously an electrician had fitted it...I just had to disconnect the old one, reconnect the new one and repair. Replacing it was really straight forward (for anyone willing to mess with electrics of a house). Slightly trickier than wiring a plug but simpler than replacing a light fitting. If adding the item from scratch then you'd also need three sets of terminal connectors.

Wire free simplicity
Bought this to replace a unit which had failed. Easy to connect up, set up is straightforward and performs as expected. The original unit had been installed for a number of years and was fitted due to alterations to a room layout and needing a light switch where access to the wiring was difficult.

Good 240v Controller
Been using it for about 6 months so far and has caused no problems. If you are thinking of replacing a pull cord etc then beware you will more than likely need to run a Neutral feed to switch as pull cords very rarely use them. *Dedicated Switch needed with this unit*

Easily malfunction
After a year of non excessive use mine started randomly turning of the lights. Really annoying.

Didn't last very long.
Mine didn't last very long. It failed to switch on. Probably out of warranty so I wrote it off as a failed experiment.

Great receiver with long range
This was easy to install and pair to the units. The range on this is very good, as some of my switches are over 20 meters away (separated by an insulated attic).
