Ugly’s Electrical References, 2023 Edition

This is my go-to reference for anything electrical. Yeah the NEC is the official handbook, but it doesn't fit in your pocket like Ugly's does. That and YES, you may bring this to your NEC test to journey out (at least here in WA state). I recommend getting one and keeping it handy in your work van or car.

Always a super helpful guide every electrician should have one.

When you do electrical work, you follow the code. To do otherwise is just foolhardy and stupid. This little book is handy and a lot easier to carry around than the code book. It has the tables references needed to do calculations. This matters when you do a lot of field work. Every site is different and you want to get it right. Here’s your guide and in a most convenient size. Up to date and easy to use. Best get one for yourself and have it handy the next time you have to calculate for wire size or other important things.

Perfect tool for my trade.

Great product, but way too small for me to read ... especially in the field. Ended up ordering an electronic copy I can use in the shop and for planning jobs. Other than the size, the content is useful and handy to have all of it in one place.

Its worth it's price

Always but the updated copy of Uglys Electrical Reference manual when code is updates. But, that is definitely not needed as most the information applies regardless of code changes. Whether you are an electrician by trade or a DIYer, this is a great reference book to have!
