one of the best additions to a set of cement steps on an older house that i have purchased. even the neighbors comment on how cool they look at night. solar lights go on when dark,or off once light is shined onto them or daylight. easy to set on steps with the solar facing up, lights facing left and then facing right. great value, good product, works every time. on off switch on the bottom. lightweight, bright l.e.d. lights so you can't miss a step going up or down

Products are easy to set up and ready for use after a few hours of charging. Definitely helped light up the stairs for added visibility and safety

I was on a quest this year to get rid of all the extra wires and plug-ins. My outdoor lighting was hardwired, so this was an undertaking. I got these to add something extra to my deck, and they worked great. They add just the right amount of subtle light from dusk to dawn and give a perfect glow that I was going for. They add the ideal elevated effect I was looking for without the extra hassle of changing lightbulbs or dealing with broken glass. I love the solar lights and am glad to be rid of the additional cost of electricity and extra wires everywhere. So far, I have not been disappointed with the battery power and durability.

We purchased these for the steps leading up to our back porch. They charge very well during the day (lots of sunlight), and the lights shine a long time in the evenings. They are not only beautiful but practical. Our steps extend about 20 feet across, so we put two touching in the middle of each step with the non-lit side together. There is plenty of light to extend almost to the end of the 10-foot stretch on each side, but most people gravitate toward the center, where the lights are, which is what we prefer for safety. We purchased more for front porch and our office porch because we liked them so much.

I purchased this item about 2 years ago. They are working still!!! They work incredibly well on our outside deck, providing needed illumination to the steps. I placed them in the corners and they work very well. They shine strong and bright. I was concerned about how they will work in winter and believe or not, they still shined through some snow on them. They are sturdy and well insulated. I haven't changed batteries in all of this time. One is starting to fade a bit so I will change those batteries. They come with a adhesive tape that worked well in most of the units but others came lose about 7 months later. Mine sit in the corner of the steps where they are out of the way of traffic so, no issues. The lights are very durable and the quality feels solid. They seem to be able to have an acceptable lifespan. I will recommend this product to anyone. I will probably order another set for my front steps.

These have been so great for 6+ months on our front stoop I’m back to order more for our back staircase. Even in darker winter months they gave a couple of hours worth of light. I’m still delighted every time I see these come on. They seem overpriced for what they are, but at least they’re quality and so far seem to have longevity. I also just have them tucked into the corners unsecured and they almost never move. Once, maybe twice, in a windy thunderstorm (Northern California) I’d have to toe one back into place.

. Easy installation on our deck stairs. Bright white light is functional and pretty. Quick response to the motion detection. Purchased another set to use in other outdoor areas in our backyard. Recommend, happy so far with this product, good value for the price.

While lovely, they don't last very long. We've tried replacing batteries inside the lights, but they still do not work. We've had ours installed for just under six months, and they're already failing. When working, the light quality was wonderful, and the size makes them perfect for steps, fence post tops, or other places you'd want lit up. We never had any issues with flickering -- when they were done they just quit working. Would not buy again.

There should be 6 lights on the steps but as you can see only 1 goes on… sometimes more but never all at the same time… not sure how these have such good reviews

It has been a week and these lights are working great so far! On a sunny day, they can hold charge for more than 8 hours. All 8 lights working great!
