If you are putting into connector blocks, you have a very firm and complete connection, no stray wires.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I inherited some electrical tools and pits and pieces, ferrules where in with the connectors and I had no idea what they were or how to use them. After I did a bit of research into them on YouTube, I decided to invest in a ferrule crimper and some additional ferrules. Have a watch of the video that I have made and you will see how, even if you are a part-time DIY electrician like me, they can come in very useful.These do exactly what they say they will and should do and there is a wide range of sizes of ferrule. The only thing that I would say is missing that I will have to go out and buy, are the ones where you can connect two wires to go into one connection.They certainly make your connections neater and as you will see in my video, if you are putting into connector blocks, you have a very firm and complete connection, no fears of stray wires or them coming out.10/10 for effectiveness and price
