CURTAIN RAIL TRACK BRACKET TO FIT SWISH SOLOGLIDE SOLOGLYDE ( pack of 5 )

I took a chance with these as I had no idea what would fit our old curtain rail left by the previous owner. Some of the old brackets just crumbled and broke one day while pulling the curtains. These fitted the track perfectly, we only needed wall plugs and the job was done in seconds. My husband was impressed that I managed to order these on amazon and get next day delivery. Value for money, great service!

I wasn't sure if the item was going to be the correct replacement brackets for my ancient curtain rail which had been present in the house from the previous owners. There was no brand name to be seen anywhere - just a crown symbol along the rail. However a careful inspection of the 3 track brackets that had snapped suggested that there was good possibility that they could be replaced with these track brackets and at the price they were being sold for, Ifigured it was worth a punt and I am pleased I did so. It turned it they were the appropriate replacements...a slightly different design with a wider gap to accommodate the mounting screw I am not the best DIYer and although a little "elbow grease" was needed to mount the brackets on to the rail, as long as you remember how all the various bits of the rail come off, putting it back together isn't too much of a challenge. Definitely worth it for me. Just check that the jaws where the bracket grips onto the rail seem to be the right size to grip onto ridge on which it mounts on the rail Perhaps the seller could post measurements on the advert?

Reat items for the price. Purchased these to replace very old rail track brackets ,some of which had snapped .Fitted perfectly .The only negative is the small screws that tighten the brackets to the tracks they do not tighten sufficiently to hold them. I ended up using the screws from the old brackets ,which are slightly bigger ,and that worked perfectly

They do the job, but the plastic is much more brittle and less maliable than the original ones that I was replacing. They will break much easier I fear.

The screws for holding the brackets to the rail were not long enough and I had to use the original ones from the old brockets..

some didn't fit and did not hold properly, in the end the whole curtain broke off

This is so hard to find the right one that fits found it was best to gust start over and gust bye the all from new
