Hitch Step for 2 Inch Hitch Receiver Towing Bar Bumper Step Rear End Guard Protector for Pickup Truck SUV

Very well built, good workmanship and has a nice finish. The plastic step protector looks cheap, but time will tell with that.

My husband wanted this for his truck and he is very happy with it.

It was a little loose in my receiver but I wrapped it in a little duct tape to snug it up and now perfect. I also pushed it all the way in and bolted at the far back behind the receiver. Loved this product for my Ford Maverick.

I drive a 2015 nissan pathfinder and wear boots for work that i keep in the back of the car till I get to work. Tying my boots up once I get there is difficult due to the bumper being a little higher then is comfortable. I bought this Hitch step hoping it could help my dilemma. And so far it works perfectly to fix my problem. Though the rubber pad on top is a little small looking the step as a whole works as expected. I weigh 250 lb not including the extra 10 lb of clothes I have to wear for work. I moved the step out to its furthest hole and put my full weight on it, bounced and there is no such thing as Flex at all even putting my full weight on one side of it it doesn't blink. Putting it in to it's first hole it is big enough to be noticed obviously but small enough to blend in to the back of the car nicely. **UPDATE** Welp... after 8 days of ownership, I got hit! Now it wasn't a crazy hit but it was enough that it would've cost a lot more to fix the damage then it did to buy this step. It was bent but didn't touch my car at all and his car didn't look as good lol. Hooked it up to a tree, bent it back and it's as good as the day I got it. Definitely saved my rear end from a new bumper at least. Might not save you from a major collision but a small hit? For sure!

Powder Coating poor Quality Bumper protection: The powder coating is poor quality. Some reviews say it rusted within a few months. The following is copied from the description of the product: "We recommend that you keep the surface of hitch step dry on a daily basis, which can more effectively extend the service life of hitch step" ???? The rubber step pad is more of a vinyl / Plastic. I think the construction quality is reasonably good, a little loose in the receiver. Main fault is the quality of the powder coating, BUT, it's priced $49 bucks about 1/2 of name brand stuff and it looks good. PS: I sprayed painted it prior to installation.

Love the quality of it fits great and very sturdy ... helps getting stuff out of the suburban alot easier the climbing up in it definitely worth the money gonna get a second one for my other truck locks right in and stay there
