Love it! Had some trouble recharging it, but was able to figure it out and it is recharged and chugging away. Took the third car off when trying to figure it out so video doesn’t show it, but now that it’s working will add it back on. To charge, remove lid from second car (the ‘coal car’) and connect the battery inside the car to the rechargeable battery with the included charger. It recharges quickly. Put the roof back on the car and set it back on the track. The wheels don’t always set easily on the tracks but once you get the train on the tracks it usually doesn’t go off as it chugs around. The second car where the battery is has to be connected by a plug to the first car in the back (the engine). The switch to turn on the train is on the back of the engine. Once set up the train will chug around and around the tree. Add water to a port on top of the engine for the smoke. It’s very cute and fun!

This was a Christmas gift for my 3 1/2 yr. old grandson and it was a hit. The smoke stack actually sent up smoke, although after a full days worth of play, it no longer sends up smoke. I don't know what the deal is with that but I'm not upset because there seemed to be a peculiar odor that gave me a splitting headache. The tracks are the regular plastic tracks and easy to assemble. The train runs along the tracks but seems to be a little too long to make the curve/turn and it goes off track on occasion. All in all I think it is a cute item and would be a welcomed gift.

Easy to use, quality is good for price… it’s small but not too small for my 5 year old but the electronic noises are NOT it. They’re loud and annoying…. I almost want to return because of the noise. Charge batteries before you give as a gift!

I always dreamed of having a train chugging along the outskirts of my Christmas tree as a child, so, since I have a toddler now I decided I would make my dream his reality. The TEMI train set boldly states that one should choose its set above the rest because it has a longer track (measuring the assembled track in the picture at 41.7 x 69.3 in) while "others track is short, not for Christmas tree." Now I haven't owned another train set, so I can't say from experience whether or not the competition's track is too short for a Christmas tree, but I can say that I relied on stated dimensions to determine whether it would work around my tree and bought it, expecting 41.7 in diameter when laid out in a circle. The actual dimensions are 34 x 57. I feel that this is a little more than a rounding error. Maybe it's made for a smaller Christmas tree. Oh, the track comes with 8 curved tracks and 4 straight tracks. The description claims 4 oval and 8 straight. This is obviously a typo and so doesn't irritate me as much. What truly, truly, is irritating is the ungodly noise this thing makes. It has engine noises, cool, I expect this, but then there's the constant bell tolling and the horn that goes off every few seconds. As far as I can tell there are no option to turn this off. Oh! And its loud. You aren't going to snuggle with the kids and wife while watching a Christmas movie with this thing running I assure you. As for installation, my wife had some trouble putting the tracks together and it was difficult to get the train's wheels seated in the tracks properly. After getting the wheels in properly the train succeeded in about 15 trips around the track with no derailing issues. 15 trips was as much as I could take of the noise before turning it off. In summary, if you're looking for a Christmas decoration I would probably go elsewhere. As this is one of the cheaper train models on here I didn't go in expecting a flawless finish or for assembly to be the easiest. I bought this after measuring the dimensions around my tree and seeing that the claims by this company would exceed the required specifications. In the end, the tracks not only did not exceed the specs, but failed. Not to mention the godawful noise.

The train set was okay overall. Some pros/good things: the smoke works pretty well, the train noises are loud (I like this part but others may not since it's hard to keep on while talking/watching tv) and it was pretty simple to assemble out of the box. Now the con/bad part: the train wheels are so flimsy/temperamental/difficult to line up on the tracks. It took many tries to get every car lined up just right so it would stay on the tracks consistently. It got to be quite frustrating to turn the train on/off since we dreaded lining the cars back up on the tracks. The train cars are pretty durable so far. The village scene/people are also really cheap/flimsy and not so easy to stand up without them falling over with one small breeze 😂

Beautiful, large train with multiple carriages, it makes a great sound and generates smoke. hermoso tren grande de varios bagones suena muy bien y genera humo.
