Great Value, Perfect Size, Durable/Quality Construction, Halloween Costume & Everyday Imagination Play
These wings are such fun and they are nicely made and very affordably priced! I am used to getting Halloween costumes that are flimsy and of poor construction/materials. I was greatly surprised when these wings came in the mail for my four year old son and they were nicely made. The wings have filling in them and are plush, so they hold their shape even with a little one wildly flapping and flying around. There is an eagle head at the back inbetween the wings if you can see it somewhat in the picture, but it is cute and doesn't interfere with making the child look like an "eagle". There are two spots per arm where the costume connects to the arms...one at the bicep, and a second at the palm to allow for a secure grip of the wings. I am happy because this costume is going to be great with a couple more additions for a Halloween eagle costume, and with the wings alone it is also a great toy for playing pretend and burning off extra energy flying. My son has been playing with these wings nearly daily for a few weeks now, and they are not showing any damage or wear. They will still be good to go for Halloween. My son just turned four years old, is a bit tall for his age, somewhat slender in proportion, and these wings still fit him great! I imagine that he could age a few more years and still fit well into the wings since the attachments are elastic and the wings are not too large or small. Love these wings!!

The best play/dress up item ever!
I bought these months ago for my daughter, who is 5, now almost 6, and just loves birds and wants to fly! She has literally worn them and played with them just about EVERY single day since she got them. She has so many fairy wings and other silly flying things--but these, HANDS DOWN, are the best I've ever bought her. She's even wearing them now as I'm typing (jumping around, flapping her wings, and "flying" around the house. All of her friends who come over to play rotate through wearing them. She even wears them around the neighborhood, pretending to be a bird flying around and flapping her wings. It's so cute, especially since she's wearing usually something along the lines of a pink sparkly shirt, a purple and green tutu, zebra leggings, and red boots! I'm so glad I found these, and would totally recommend these to anyone who wants to buy their bird-loving kid a fun, durable, and well-made set of wings. I think these will fit her for years to come, and will be something that she will keep for her kids later. They're that great!

Small
This is very well made with quality material and foam padding. The bands help it hold onto the arms. My 8 year old absolutely loves it. He's small, so it still fits him. My 9 year old is tall, and it doesn't fit him well. He can manage it though. Beautiful details and quality product. Keep in mind, it has a small head where the wings come together. It's kind of strange looking, and we'd rather wings without a head. My son didn't seem to notice though.

These are great for kids' bird costumes! Owl, eagle, hawk, etc.
These wings are perfectly sized for a child's costume. My son used them to dress up as an owl for Halloween They look really good! My son seemed to find them comfortable with the elastic arm loops. They are too small to fit an average adult. Great product; my only quibble is the tiny bald eagle head between the wings. It's totally disproportionate in size, and it looks weird when these are used as part of a costume – which is what the item is intended for. But it's not enough of a problem to knock a star off this five-star rating.

Beautiful wings
These are amazing and so well done. I was skeptical at first being they were fabric, but the design is so vivid they look so real it is amazing. The teacher in my grandchild's class ended up getting 3 other sets. These are for the end of the year play and it is America themed. One last comment, the way they are made works great, slide arms into elastic bands and good to go. Plus the wings are flexible so not bumping into others.

Good for small kids 1st-3rd grade depending on arm span.
This review is for all the parents out there buying this for a costume. This is for children, not adults. These wings have a little eagle in the middle which frankly was useless, unless your kid wants to look like they have a baby eagle on their back. If you have your child stand and hold their arms out to the sides like a T you can compare to this measurement. My kid measures 48" across fingertip to fingertip. The elastics that you slide each arm into are located at the shoulder and on the forearm. The shoulder elastics are the same size as the lower ones and are too tight so I removed them and sewed longer ones on. I also cut the little eagle off and sewed a piece of dark brown felt in its place. If your child has a smaller arm span you can cut the little eagle off and sew the two cut parts together. I'm making a bald eagle hood with white feathers so it will cover the area where the little eagle excision took place anyway. Overall this was worth buying because it saved me hours of cutting and sewing feathers into wing shapes. Now for the rest of the costume! The clock is ticking! Update: The wings looked FANTASTIC with the eagle head! I was able to fold them into an M shape with the center part pointing down and each wing folded into the shape of each arch of the M and slide it into a 2.5gal ziploc bag for storage. The M shape is perfect because if they crease it will be bent like a wing.
