HEXBUG 413-5128-00GL04 Battlebots Arena

Although I had to return our original item due to a missing controller, this is a great play set and hours of fun can be had with it. It's a shame that there is limited supplies via Amazon of the other robots that can be purchased. Yes the controllers are on the small side and a little tricky, but the fun more than makes up for this little fact. Yes, it's a little pricy, but worth it if you can buy it via a sale price, and yes, it can appear flimsy in places but if you can buy it for the £50 mark this in my opinion is a great buy.

I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the arena and the bots themselves are and how big the whole thing is - we’ve been having a lots of fun with it- if you enjoyed Battlebots, this is highly recommended and, although expensive, is worth the money. I just wish more bots were available at a sensible price!

Bought this for a mate for his birthday and we had a blast. Its honestly sturdier than it looks, and especially the bots I was quite impressed.Now I have this to him last month, and we wouldn't be playing every day or anything, so if you're looking to play it casually, then defo wouldn't have any hassle, if you were to use it daily it might not have same longevity I wouldn't know. But for casual banter with mates it's defo worth it, very easy to assemble and a lot of fun to lay with.Arena would be defo too for 4 bits if you're wondering, this is definitely a 1v1 arena, but don't forget the 2 side hammers where you can involve other people and turn it into a 4 player game.

Bought this for my robot wars mad son for Christmas and he loves it. Batteries don't last very long but are easily replaceable. Had hrs of fun playing against each other. The controllers are easy to programme to specific robot and after they have been "destroyed" they go back together nice and easy. You can buy additional robots (comes with 2) so you could have more players. Took about 10 minutes to build the arena.

A present for my grandson at Christmas - so far allthe family, especially the generation that remembers the original Robot Wars, love this.There is one downside - manufacturers please note:- there is only one set of robots available for this, whether in this set or bought separately. You can not buy different robots to battle, and that’s a big failing. We don’t want to battle Hexbugs! Please introduce more battle robots into your range!5 stars remains though because this set is so much fun.

Bought this and another set for Christmas. 3 out of 4 remote controls do not work at all. Tried pairing them in a different room, changed the batteries several times and nothing. Since 25th December, I have sent HEXBUG several emails on two separate emails as per advice on their website and automated responses. I have texted them via Messenger and commented on their HEXBUG UK Facebook page’s post. Not a single response. 1 star is even generous. Just triggering a return and refund and getting something else for the kids.

Connection it not great, looses power really easily meaning a very frustrated 8 year old. The battle bots need to be sturdier, they are really quite flimsy and pieces come off after 1 hit-not really much of a battle going on! Over priced and not worth the hype.

My son loves this, it was a birthday present that he desperately wanted. I was a little sceptical as the reviews weren't great and it's very expensive, but even I love playing it with him.
