We started doing Board training for our clients a few months back. We keep finding new stuff to make it better because we do it in a virtual meeting format so people can attend in person or via Microsoft Teams. The first meeting we used our Owl Labs 360 degree camera and microphone setup, which we use a lot in Board meetings. It worked, but not great. Next we used my wife's mirrorless DSLR camera for the video, which worked great for showing the presenter, but we still used the Owl Labs to show the audience and as a microphone to pick up the audience's audio when they asked questions. The video from the DSLR was great, but the audio sucked. Next we used the DSLR with a single lav mic that was rented from a photo equipment supplier. That worked awesome for the presenter but they had to repeat whatever in-person attendees asked so the virtual attendees could hear. Finally we got these mic's. Connected to the DSLR, with one mic used by the presenter, one by the person watching Teams for questions, and two that could be passed around for in-person attendees to use when asking their questions. BOOM! This was perfect! Now the virtual attendees could hear everything that the in-person people could! These work great! I really don't know of a negative aspect. So cheap compared to most other options. Fairly small devices. Charge quickly and the charge lasts longer than I need.

I’ve had a terrible experience with these microphones. It only worked well on film day one time but after that, the receiver never connected to the microphones. It just kept blinking over and over and wouldn’t connect to my camera. Don’t bother buying.

Was great when it worked but suddenly stopped working after 2 years

Really great product! You get 4 awesome mics! It works with your camera or with a smartphone. However, if you plan to use it with your phone, you need their 3.5mm to TRS male cable which is sold separately for like $18. The customer service was awesome and they sent me the cable for free! There is no other product like this on the market. This simplifies so much! No more pounds of cables and old technology. If you use Android, you'll need to use the Open Camera app and in the settings, audio, choose "external microphone". And that's it! :)

My wife uses them for her office videos and radio spots. Great sensitivity, range, and sound . No issues. They just work! It would be great if they would make an all-in-one charging dock for this product but I’m still very pleased with this purchase!

Mics seem to work alright, issue is it picked up more of the sound of us unwrapping stuff than it did our voices....

5/18/24 I've had these for a couple of weeks now and I am about ready to through them out the window. No matter WHAT is done in the sequencing, these darn things WILL NOT all pair up. I can only get two out of the four no matter what the little booklet says in the hint section for getting all transmitters up and running. It is simply RIDICULOUS how much time I have spent playing with this for what is so basic - PAIRING!! I do not plan on changing the rating until I am able to pair them all and USE THEM!!
