Works.
The package it can it was broken but nothing was harmed. We are working on my son Jeep differential and needed one to measure the backlash. Probably won't use it again but for the money it's fine.

Good gauge, bad base
The gauge seems smooth and accurate enough and returns to zero. The base however is absolute garbage. Not a huge deal, but would’ve been nice to not have to buy a new one.
