And a fraction of the price! Certainly not 6 times worse than genuine, which was the price difference! Fits a treat into my Canon 1d mk 4. Although it’s much higher MA rating, lasts slightly less time, and holds it charge for less time than genuine battery, but great as a back up. Charges fine in Canon dual battery charger. Been using it for over a year, works well, even when left taking star trail pictures outside in winter in uk. Recomended.

Whilst there are many third party batteries and they are all most likely made in China, the DSTE branded ones have always been very reliable for me over the years and in terms of performance, as good as the OEM versions plus better value for money. I have used them for M4/3rds cameras and numerous Canon models so I have no hesitation in giving them a big thumbs up.

Good replacement spare battery. Does not get read by camera so unable to see remaining battery but good price.

Bought this as a trial for my brand new Canon EOS R3. Firstly the battery came with no charge in it at all. Secondly, the battery would not charge in the official Canon battery charger supplied with the camera. Thirdly and most importantly, the camera would not recognise the battery coming up with the error message 'Battery read error'. I cannot speak for other models of Canon cameras that are listed under this manufacturers 'compatible' list but BUYER BEWARE! I certainly would not recommend this battery.

Just as good as the real Canon product. As a keen buyer of alternative batteries for my many camera systems over the last 10 years or more, my experience could only be described as good. Dont understand why genuine "branded" batteries are often 5 times the price of alternatives?

De momento, y con el uso que le he dado, todo correcto. He leído que a muchos nos les marca el nivel de batería en cámara pero a mí con 5 ciclos de carga, sigue marcándomelo. Lo mejor: precio. Lo peor: nada hasta la fecha.

Purchased to use as a backup while covering Stanley Cup playoffs. I've been using this one as the primary while my Canon OEM battery is ready in case it dies. So far, it hasn't died on me once yet, and I shot 1,400 frames with it during the last game (yeah, overkill, sheesh). Battery seems to fit in the camera well, maybe not quite as snug as the OEM battery, but it hasn't caused me any issues. Yeah, there's no chip or whatever so I can't see the remaining battery life, but for $38 I don't really care.

Batterie compatible et communiquant avec le boitier Canon 1D mkIV pour moins de 30€. Batterie en plastic cheap et surement pas tropicaliser, mais pour ce prix permet d'avoir des batteries en plus. Je recommande, hors tropicalisation.
