Mineralized Health Grit for Birds (14 oz.)

This is exactly what I wanted for my 2 canaries! I put it in a shallow dish and sprinkle some seeds onto it. They spent hours foraging through it and it keeps them busy.

I purchase this grit for my domestic aviary doves this adds necessary minerals and aids digestion of the seeds. Many grits available are too large for these birds this one seems to work well would recommend.

I waited a few days and voila! Two little Zebra finches Laying eggs this week, went to the grit and seemed delighted with it. It looks and seems very nicely blended. I provide 3-4 different types of calcium, especially when eggs are produced. Birds (Zebra finches) die without Calcium supplement while laying eggs. They deplete quickly. You can put the grit in a plastic wide jar lid on the bottom of the cage. Also good: finely crushed egg shell, Cuttlebone. This brand is new for us and seems really nice.
