I bought this kit strictly for the extra tips after I broke the original. The tips work great and the lids that come with this kit are actually much better that the name brand equivalent due to the extended silicon sleeve, it seals on the first try every time without having to push down on the lid. The name brand usually takes two or three attempt to get a good seal.

Just place it on your ball jar. Keeps it air tight. It sucks the air right out from my food saver. Now I have my coffee bean grinder fresh in an air tight container.

Works great with both regular and wide mouth jars

Worked great! They fit the jars very well, and are easy to use. I used it with a Nesco VS-12 sealer, sealed some cinnamon sticks in mason jars. This device is NOT for canning items that should be done in a pressure/water bath canner.It's for dry goods, like spices, cereals, flour/corn meal, sugars and the like. If using for dusty type items, like flour, place a piece of paper towel down on top of the flour so you don't draw it into your vacuum sealer and ruin it. You could also use it to protect/store important items like jewelry, documents, photos.One recommendation I'd make is if you plan to take the tubes off after use for flatter storage, would be to lube the o-rings before inserting the tube adapter into the cap.

I’m very impressed with how well this kit works. I have a new Nesco premium sealer and was having difficulty selling some jars, but with the assortment of tips to attach to the plastic tubing, I was able to get the correct combination and now everything seals easily on the first try. The regular and widemouth caps fit well and as described the blue seal, rubber ring does not come off of these as it often does on others, which usually cost more surprisingly. An addition to all of this, this unit was the least expensive available. I’m very pleased.

Good seal, seals well, keeps the food fresh, very easy to clean up. Good quality.

This does work with my model Food Saver VS0160. You have to press down a little to get the attachment to go in. Was worried about pushing anything in too hard as someone new to Food Savers and accessories.

I’m not very good at naming parts, but the little nipple piece on the plastic that attaches to the hole in the sealer broke after two uses. This was a backup purchase that I was testing. So obviously my other name brand jar sealer is better quality. I need to look on the website to see if they sell just the attachment heads without the hoses.
