Realy Realy good.
Purchased this to work with a number of power tools, but mainly my jointer plainer. This has now turned the use of the planer into a joy when previously it was a nightmare. Good suction when using the adaptors for vacuuming with smaller hoses, but this unit came into its own when using the 100mm hose. The air flow is incredible, which is the most important thing when dust extracting. Some reviewers have said they find the 100mm hose too rigid and inflexible. I found it to be a good compromise between flexibility and durability. Flexible enough to run to all my machines and rigid enough not to kink and block. It also hangs well from my workshop ceiling, being strong enough to support its own weight. It is quite loud , but that can only be expected given the realy good air flow it produces. My workshop has never been so clean and dust free, and more importantly I don’t have to have my extract fans on full pelt any more. The filter system is very effective and even coped well with a lot of the dreaded MDF without clogging up. The large tank is very practical and extremely easy to empty. This is a large item, so I am glad it’s not on wheels. Would like to have seen it with a power take off and would have happily paid more for this facility.

Lumberjack BDE1200 amazing bit of kit for a small workshop
Bought a Lumberjack BDE1200 from Amazon last year and just round to getting it set up and used. Very high quality piece of kit and amazing suction for the size of motor (1200W). The 5 piece adaptor fits to all of my hoses used on my power tools, so that is a boost. Lightweight enough for me to take from my workshop to my workplace in the back of the truck. Although the supplied 2m x 100mm extraction hose is a fair size it would be good if Lumberjack sold 100mm extension hoses and a 100mm hose joining connector, so I could get the unit to sit in the middle of my workshop and reach the tools rather than have to move it around. An additional 2m hose would be great. Yes, you can buy extensions on Amazon but the quality of the Lumberjack hose is very high. I bought this extractor after reading the reviews on Amazon and I am very glad I did. It is a cracking extractor.

Very good but very loud
I have set up a small workshop in my shed with a planer and table saw. This was a must. It has all the attachments to connect to multiple exhaust vents. Its easy to setup and has a large capacity. The only slight downsides are that it is very loud and there is no indicator that it is full. On a couple of occasions it has stopped sucking anything up as it is completely full including the hose. These though are small prices to pay for the cost. The machine that it is connected to is usually louder than it anyway and as long as you give it a check every now and then you can avoid a full tank. If you need a cheap dust extraction unit this is a great choice. It is easy to change the hose to different machines should you need to.

Absolutely brilliant
This thing is absolutely great, especially considering the low price in comparison to other dust extractors. It's good good power, is much quieter than my vacuum cleaner and is light, so it's easy to move around if needed. The only thing I'd recommend is definitely buy some adapters with it as you'll almost certainly need them for different tools. The tube extension is a good idea too as a smaller tube is much easier to manoeuvre around while you're working. I use this in my garage workshop and it's absolutely perfect. It's never been so dust-free!

Good suction
Good item. Plenty of connection fitting options. Excellent suction. Was a little concerned over noise levels but these were not a problem.

It's very loud and generates lots of heat
I've got one of these for use with my triton thicknesser and various other power tools in a small home workshop. The good: it has good suction, it feels solid enough construction wise and comes with a member of size nozzles. The bad: it's very noisy, but I'm using power tools so it's not major. The unit generates a lot of heat, I'd be interested to hear of others have this issue. The nozzles are barely compatible with any of my tools thus I've had to resort to good old tape to get a seal. Final thoughts: It's a good price, and its its good for sucking up dust and wood chipping from the floor, the nozzle issue is very annoying but not unusual with this kind of thing. If you can afford to spend another 100 odd quid get something better, but for a budget buy it does the job.

Excellent product
Careful when you start this thing up, it’ll suck your worship inside out and create a black hole the size of the Milky Way. Well made, powerful and worth the money.

Poor customer service as well as product.
Thank you Amazon! For stepping in and removing the stress of dealing with company's who'll endorse a bad product, sale it, then don't take responsibility for a electrical industrial extractor with is not fit for purpose after 8 hours use! Shame as worked well. Impressed with the suction power. But just turned it off, and that was that! Dead completely, no indiction of a fault at all. Just died and never started again. Customer service asked me to take it apart to inspect it myself. When there is no such request made for regular maintance in the manual provided! I told them no, as this would breach the warrenty, so ask me to send it back for review. Not fit for purpose after 8 hours and hide behind a 30 day no return policy. Surprised Amazon allow them to tarnish their reputation with such poor custom service and a clear lack of responsibility to custom service. Never mind a duty of care for dangerous electrical goods. Dont purchase.
