I've been trying various drugstore brands for the days when I dont want to break out my luxe brands. Maybelline Fit-Me is an old favourite, but it oxidises quite a bit and since my face became drier in some parts, didnt suit me anymore. I've used Essence abroad and have really loved them. Bought the Loreal Infallible 24 hr foundation and tried it out alongside this. This did not oxidise while the Loreal one did. Both of them give medium coverage which can be built up. It covered my blemishes. This gives a lovely semi-matte finish while Loreal gave a radiant finish. Has a mild fragrance. Since the L'oreal one is priced more than double, I prefer the Essence one since it didnt oxidise at all. Am not commenting on the longevity as this is peak summer and I used a setting spray. The expiry date says 2019 (hope its not a new sticker) so I've got no issues.
