Incorrect length and not an accurate description
This item is half the size of what the description detailed. Very disappointed as it was twice the price of the competitors and would have been good value if it was the correct length. For clarity it is only 120mm long.

Watch the chewing and the bone!
My dog lives to chew - so much so that he chews these bones to the sharpest edges and cut his mouth up. We are moving on to othe bones that will better withstand his desire to gnaw (golden lab - 56 lbs). My daughter got one for her Chinook - who ended up breaking a tooth! I think this are good bones for certain dogs, but not all dogs.

No mess or smell and my dog loves it!
Received my first buck bone, size large, today and my 65 lb golden retriever was begging for his new chew toy before I even had all the packaging off! I didn't expect him to enjoy this so much but he gnawed on it for almost an hour and then fell asleep with it in his mouth. I'm very pleased to have found a quality chew toy that is safe to chew and good for my dog's dental health.

Okay but could be dangerous
it's okay...but my dog (5 years old goldendoodle - 70 ibs) can break this rather easily.. and swallowed some small pieces which ended up with several nights of waking up with his puking/throwing up... So watch your dog while eating this. Also the vets are warning the hard chewers for not chewing anything stronger/harder then teeth as this may break their teeth. I will search for softer chews which are also not as easily broken (I don't know whether both of these conditions can be found in any chew).

Lasts long for large dogs!
Perfect! The whole chew lasts way longer for our German Shepherd. The 3/4" diameter is critical feature for our dog. She loves to hold it and scrape the marrow out from the ends. There’s barely a dent, and she’s chewed on it about 30 minutes a day for the last week. (The “half” version she had carved out in 2 days.) I had some concern that the brown color might come off on our beige carpet, but it’s a very clean bone. I’ll definitely be ordering more of these!Update: It lasted 6 months before it got down to 3 inches, and she couldn't easily hold it anymore. Happy to order another one and gift the remnant to a smaller dog.

UPDATED Review - Great Customer Service
UPDATE - Based on our experience, we emailed Buck Bone and received a response the next day. They sent out a replacement antler at no charge. We have since received that antler which appears to be of a higher quality (like what we had expected) since it has not worn away so quickly (as the first one did). We have upgraded our review based on the high level of customer service received and the fact that they replaced the product and we are pleased with the replacement.Original Review - We received the antler (large whole antler) today and gave it to our dog around 5:30pm. These photos were taken at 8:30pm. This $25 antler deteriorated so quickly that we had to take it away only 3 hours after we opened it. The only reason I gave it one star is because our dog really seemed to enjoy it during the 3 hours that it lasted. As for me, I’m thoroughly disappointed after paying $25 and waiting 3 days for delivery. Will definitely not be purchasing again.

Substantial, High-Quality Elk Antlers
My 110 lb. dogs (Old English Bulldogge and Cane Corso Mastiff) are super happy with these antlers. I bought 2 of them and was hesitant after buying other antlers online that were tiny and not large enough for my voracious chewers. These antlers did not let me down! They are large and have not degraded at all yet which is saying a lot since my bulldogge has incredibly strong jaws and teeth. Will purchase again.

which makes us very happy. We also feel good about giving it to ...
Our one-year-old yellow lab, who is an average to strong chewer, absolutely loves these antlers. We initially bought a split antler from the same company in order to pique his interest and make the marrow easier for him to access. That lasted about three weeks before it had to be taken away because he had chewed it down. We've had this whole large antler for three weeks now, and he has barely made a dent in it! It keeps him entertained and satisfies his urge to chew, while also keeping his teeth clean, which makes us very happy. We also feel good about giving it to him because it's an all natural product and not as hard as some of the plastic bones on the market, which carry the risk of cracking teeth.

Not good value for money
We were looking for something that our lab would not chew down too quickly so would last longer than a day. This seemed promising to start with, but it began to smell bad very quickly (within 3 days), and after about 30 minutes of chewing we started to see bloody gums, so we took it off her, put it in a bag in the fridge, and then gave it to her again the next day. Again, after about 30 minutes she was done. After a few days of this, it started smelling really bad, like rotten meat, so we just threw it away. Too expensive for it to last only 3 days!

Good quality elk antler
My 58lb Plott hound/catahoula mix loves his elk antler! He is an extreme chewer and this antler has lasted over a month now. When I first gave it to him he was excited and took it right away and chewed on it for a long time. He doesn’t chew it every day now that it has gotten shorter, but he still loves it for when he gets his chew urges. The antler is thick and good quality. We adopted him 2 months ago and I’m happy to have found him something that he enjoys.

BEST DEAL ON AMAZON!!
Okay this thing is seriously HUGE!I bought another one for $20 and it was so small compared to this. My 65 pound dog loves it and I just bought one more for my Australian cattle dog. It's the size of my wrist!

Splits seem to last longer than whole bones, why? -shrugs-
Im not sure what gives but it seems the more we pay, the less it lasts. Our dog has had almost every level of size from this company and the split ones seem to last longer than the full ones. Not sure why.For reference, our dog is a border collie boxer mix, 57 lbs and has chewed through this particular one in about 3 weeks. No teeth broken though, its good quality, it just doesn't seem to hold up to aggressive chewers and at 25$ a pop, I can't say it's worth it anymore. Cheers to anyone who can though, they are great bones.

The best natural dog chew
These antlers are the best natural dog toy/chew I have found. My aggressive chewer destroys most toys and bones, but he has to really work on these antlers for a couple weeks. They are odorless, which is a common issue with other natural dog chews, and they don't make a mess. I even allow them in the house! The packaging is labeled as "stress free", and it really is! I have no complaints about this item and will continue to buy these for my dog.

Most loved bone
These are the only bones my dog will chew on and they last for at least a year, which makes for a great Christmas present ;) This was also a great deal since these bones are $40 in my local pet store. Will absolutely buy again and again
