I sprayed a 25' X 8' Redwood wall, both sides, using Cabot Brand "Deck Correct" Solid Stain, 2 gallons, not thinned. I also sprayed a fence with Valspar Solid Deck Stain, not thinned. These stains are very thick, but the spray gun worked beautifully. I got this project done in 1/4 of the time vs rolling. I will say that this sprayer likes a full cup for 45 degree angles shooting up or down. I cut the pressure way down to 3 and material down to 5 and 6 and had low over spray and better coverage. The spray tip does clog eventually, but a bucket of soapy water near by provides a place to clean the parts and get back to work. I highly recommend this sprayer for medium projects. This was the first time either my wife or I have used a spray paint gun. Many reviews listed this model as a good one to start with - and they were right. The paint gun is very easy to assemble (they have a short video). The two sprayers included allow you to choose how much paint to spray at one time. For our first project with black water based latex paint, we used the detail sprayer, which resulted in a very even coating and allowed good control. Just as important, clean-up is very easy. With water-based paint you can rinse it all in the sink.

I’m on the fence with the power painter. It’s light weight, good value, and functionality is good. It takes some time to get use to, and it clogs up frequently. I feel like I spend more time loading, cleaning, and filling than painting. With all that said when working it does do a great job with coverage and painting.

Works better than any other sprayer!!

I’ve bought “open box” from Amazon many times, (very happily, for years) but after I got somebody’s dirty used fabric mattress pad instead of the memory foam topper I ordered days ago —I admit I was a little scared to open this box. Rightfully so it turns out bc it’s an old, beat-up, long-used paint sprayer instead of the like new/mint one I ordered. See pics below. I can’t believe Amazon or Wagner even took this old thing as a return? Is the seasonal help overwhelmed? The sprayers, cords, parts and inside of the case are covered in paint spray, the nozzles are caked with it, there were broken pieces of something inside and the outside of the case was so dirty, I could write “wash me” in it. Unmistakable drywall dust, inside and out. A new-new Wagner Flexio 3000 is $22 more and well worth it if this is what is considered open box/like new/mint! This isn’t even a joke because it’s not funny. At all. I can’t stress enough that this wasn’t just used once or twice and returned —this kind of wear takes time to accumulate. It’s awful that people abuse return privileges because it ruins it for the rest of us honest people. And neither the returner nor Amazon even bothered to attempt to clean it in any way. If they had, it’s still a piece of old junk but I might’ve had to try to use it to know for sure. (The nozzles are so caked in paint and likely won’t spray anyway). So thanks for saving me the effort? Whoever labeled this thing’s condition as “like new/mint, might not be in original packaging” shouldn’t be allowed to label anything ever again. Anywhere. For any reason. You could close your eyes and feel the paint blobs and scratches all over it — and categorize it accurately as “used-poor condition”. Truly. Listen for the rattle of broken pieces of who knows what —like jingle bells of horror! Don’t believe me, look at the pics and decide for yourself. I feel bad Amazon or Wagner gave someone their money back for this — they deserve better. We all deserve better. I hate giving a bad rating because Wagner is great —I love my Wagner power roller, paint stick and of course my ancient 1990’s Wagner sprayer that I was buying this one to replace. They make excellent products. And Amazon Resale is usually super awesome —so maybe seasonal help is overwhelmed?

I am updating several areas of my house which includes new moulding and doors. This painter is far more practical than my full-size Graco sprayer for smaller tasks like this. In under an hour I was able to paint all the mouldings for a good-sized full bath and clean up everything with minimal paint waste. While I probably could have done it in the same time with my pro sprayer, this wasted far less paint and was easier to clean. The only ridicule on cleaning would be the small parts that can be easily overlooked by a novice to spray painters. If every part is not properly cleaned, the machine will not work properly in future projects. Since the bits and pieces were not super easy to identify, I can imagine novice users missing them and having future problems. I highly recommend this sprayer!

This would be perfect for outside, but it is definitely not good for indoors. It made a mess everywhere. We had one of us spraying it and the other cleaning everything that it sprayed. It did leave my wall looking beautiful and covered but the process was not worth it. We tried all settings and even looked at YouTube because we thought we were missing something, but we were not. It was very easy to clean though.

Have only used a handful of times to apply water based polyurethane, but so far so good. Good adjustable spray pattern with consistent results. The ease of how it disassembles makes cleanup a breeze. (This was something I was worried about but is really easy with some paint thinner)

Easy to clean. Thin you are paint! Track down some Wagner Paint Easy, or some other latex extender ! Works wonders! Strain your paint! Your best results are going to be if you can lay the material flat. Yes, you've got to take the time to do one side and then the other. But gravity is your friend if you want to get a good finish! No regrets in purchasing this. Do some practice. Learn how to mix the material.

Couldn’t even try it! The one I received isn’t operational, tried different power outlets but still didn’t work. Return requested. Once completed I might reorder to give it second chance.

Es excelente si sabes limpiar y mantener en buenas condiciones tu herramienta. Soy una persona que usa mucha herramienta y cada herramienta tiene sus truquillos y esta no es la excepción. Una vez que la conozcas y sepas cómo y por qué se podría tapar, el manejo se hace muy sencillo.

apenas tiene 4 meses y en la segunda vez que la utilizó esta fallando como que hace corto, en donde la puedo enviar para que me la reparen.
