Super easy to use and works great. Adjusting things like the sensor distance and width is just a turn of a screw. We attached it to a little air blower and pointed it at our door so the cats will get spooked and stop chewing on our doorframes. Works a charm. For what it’s worth, the plug part is a little bulky so you may not be able to use an adjacent plug if they’re really close together on a power strip.

Love for my garage

This sensor and plug was fairly easy to install. As others have noted, it's not that easy to change the setting for time on, etc, It's not real clear where the pointer on the dial is. Also, it has intermittent issues with turning on. I've got this in my garage, and sometimes the light will come on before I've fully opened the door, and sometimes I can walk right up to the sensor and it STILL doesn't register my motion. I can easily hit the button on the plug, but shouldn't have to do that. But, for the 90% time that it works as it should, it's a handy tool.

Does not work consistently. The range is unreliable and when it triggers it, it will just stay on indefinitely, and therefore the timer is unreliable.

The motion detection by this device is perfect for me. I like sensitive triggering, so I won't have to wave at it to turn on. Check! I like the light to stay on while I'm in the area, not cut off, and cause me to have to wave at them. Check! I like the option to adjust the distance for triggering for close or far. Check! It's totally frustration-free! The plugin "puck" and IR sensor are very light and feel cheap, but are inexpensive. As long as they work perfectly, I'm happy

Super easy to set up. I was worried but it was easy to open (with a butter knife handle edge) and adjust the settings to your preference. No issue, quick and easy setup (they're already synced to one another) and I had the lights in my closets coming on in no time when I walk in. Yay! I've tried several things and these worked the best. I like the small size of the plug - some of them are huge and will take up all the socket space - this only needs one.

Wow, what an impressive device! It’s incredibly responsive, with actions completing in under 2 seconds. I especially love the manual dials, no need to memorize complicated settings. Honestly, I’d buy 10 of these if I had more use cases. For now, I’m just using it to turn on a light when I approach my back door, and it works perfectly.

Buy a magnifying glass to read the poorly written instructions. The first instruction says to open the case, but does not tell you how to do that. Good luck, especially if you are trying to be careful. I did get it open without tools or damage, but the tabs would then no longer hold it together. Settings for duration with no motion, detection distance, and daylight are made with an included small paddle, There is no arrow on these tinydials. Unfortunately, adjusting detection distance had no effect, and the device could only sense motion within five feet, to small for even an office setting. As long as I walked up to it, the device worked for a day, Then it stopped working on its own accord. Inspection indicated the plug had become un-paired to the device, and instructions to re-pair did not work. Waste of time, sending back.
