Huff: The Complete Second Season [DVD] [2004] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]

Even more disconcerting than season one, and even stranger that this brilliant series stopped there. It's witty, credible (unfortunately?) and very well acted. Thanks to Hank Azaria ....

I presume the t.v. show is fine but i will never know as this would not play on my multi region player which plays everything.

I was very impressed by the first season but the second season is a confused mess and the writing has deteriorated significantly. The first season built things up nicely and left a million possibilities going forward. All the major plot lines in the second season are either unrealistic or badly handled. Seems to me as either a rushed jobs or the writing staff had changed. Some parts of the second season are pretty stupid and are a million miles away from the verisimilitude of the first season (won't say too much as they would be spoilers).

I just bought "Huff" series one and find it amazingly above average compared to the kind of junk which Scandinavia chooses for Canal Digital! I have tried to order series two of "Huff" in PAL frequency but this seems impossible. I think the actors: Blythe Danner and Anton Yeltsin are very good and the humor and values of this series are good. It is a mystery why we get ridiculous junk about "aliens", vampires and walking dead and hours and hours of back to back QI programs with Stephen Frye as host, or "Top Gear" with Jeremy Clarkson and dozens of whining people whining about their trivial problems like lack of self- respect because their hips are a bit too big or too narrow disguised as REALITY TV! on almost every station that comes to Norway through the air but a simple little quality series like "Huff" is impossible for the British or other European channels to get transferred to our DVD PAL REGION 2 frequency!!!! What IDIOTS are ruling these decisions? There is commercial value still in sales isn't there? No wonder people get confused and need their personal shrinks in such an absurd world. Here is a : WITHOUT QUESTION!!! quality product that could sell easily being shelved while millions of viewers are disgusted with their TV offers from companies that seem to have no commercial or even political instincts or intuition. NO we don't opt for more COOKING PROGRAMS when humans the world over are turning to FAT!! but TV entertainment which causes us to THINK a little about our lives might just be healthy! WHERE IS "HUFF" SERIES 2 PAL frequency hiding itself for the UK AMAZON.com subscribers. June E.

Excellent Bideo Series - Too bad it was not extended beyond Season 2

Es una pena que hayan cancelado la serie en esta segunda temporada. Hank Azaria es uno de mis actores favoritos y de psiquiatra es genial.

This was a $2.00 item (the first season) that my gram picked-up at a "Dollar" store. The plot, theme, actors...excellent! It was as great as "6 Feet Under"..."Weeds"...and many others in that style. I had to buy season #2 (via Amazon for more than 2 bucks) and it was as exciting and intersting as the first season. Psychological, people related, fun, scary...human relationships....the ending may not be completed because many people who watched this series....i think on ShowTime wanted more; our family, however, felt that the ending was wonderful and appropriate! Totally well worth series...we marathoned it!

An amazingly good series well written and well acted but see season one first !!
