hate hate hate!!!! The old design is much better, this jammer in much too grippy on the rope and the plate wares to be sharp not what you want when you use it with rope. Losing so much confidence in Petzl's caving gear especially with the changes made to the petzel simple and will be buying a new chest jammer from Climbing Technology as they're much better. Don't waste your money.
