Product is good, but not happy about the customer service

The solution is great with ample range from home base and the solar panel keep the cameras well charged (6 hours of direct sun in summer, will see how winter will perform). The only downside is the recording of events which is limited, it should rather be adjustable depending how long the event lasts and set as per user choice , if you have large storage capacity (2TB in my case) longer recording should not be of an issue. The AI component is novice and not of great use, it fails to recognize the people you had set as family, furthermore it mixes events type (motion with cars or trucks) The software should allow adding unrecognizable people / Cars into it’s memory. Overall it is a simple great solution for places where you can’t have connections.

We've had nothing but issues with the Eufy security cam system (2 kits) we ordered as we've had to replace 5 out of the 6 eufyCams now for botched firmware upgrades (which are automated by Anker) and 2 for hardware related issues. The failure rate of these cams is very high! Despite Anker replacing the 5 faulty cams, of which a couple were replaced more than once, with refurbished cams that according to Anker were thoroughly QC'd and checked prior to shipping only for the replacement cams to fail again. To add insult to injury, when we requested from Anker to extend our warranty by half a year for the issues, lost time and effort we faced with their cameras as we've lost any confidence we had in their brand, we were instead offered a 15% discount on our next Eufy purchase!! No thanks, Anker. Never again!

Ho acquistato questo sistema per controllare la proprietà di mio padre che abita in campagna e negli ultimi mesi ha subito diversi furti nelle pertinenze adiacenti a casa. installare il sistema è stato semplice, abbiamo aggiunto 2 cam aggiuntive e una sirena d'allarme per avvisare se di notte una cam rileva movimento. Ci sono tutte le impostazioni necessarie per settare al meglio il tutto, e la qualità dell'immagine e dei video sono buoni. Il sistema deve essere collegato ad internet, e visto che ho installato la base fuori casa, ho acquistato un modem 4g. Inoltre ho acquistato un ssd che ho installato nella base per aumentare la cronologia dei video e non utilizzare il servizio cloud (a pagamento). In pratica con circa 1000€ ho un sistema con 6 cam, 1 sirena e il tutto collegato ad internet tramite un modem 4g (spesa mensile 7€ per l'abbonamento) Abbiamo questo sistema da 4 mesi e per ora nessun problema. Il pannello solare sopra la cam fa si che questa non si scarichi, e in questi mesi (invernali) posso constatare che le batterie di tutte le 6 camere è ancora al massimo! Ricapitolando posso dire che il sistema è stata una bella sorpresa, certo la spesa non è bassa ma può essere una valida alternativa ad un'installazione di un sistema professionale che avrebbe tutt'altri costi.

I purchased a seasonal home and was unable to get the Arlo cameras left with the property working. Given it's a seasonal property draining batteries is a big concern of mine as the property sits empty for months at at time at certain times of the year. The cameras come with very good mounting instructions to take advantage of the solar panels, and using the app to position/aim the lens ensures you get it positioned properly the first time. It will also test the WIFI connection while you are at the location to ensure the signal is strong enough. I had no issues with any of the cameras in my house as far as signals go. I also am finding the solar panel charging seems to work extremely well as they've been up for two weeks and the batteries are fully charged. The base station works well and has lots of storage. I haven't purchased any additional and I'm not sure I need it. The app is good and has handy features like being able to set the notification settings for Home, Away, schedule, etc. There are proximity features as well to arm/disarm but I haven't played with them. My only comment (and it's a small one) is I find the camera in my courtyard catches motion but the subject is almost out of range before the video starts recording. I think that's probably more about the positioning of the camera than the device itself so I may play with it. Now thinking about installing a front door digital lock/camera and smart locks for my other doors. Overall I'm very pleased with the technology and the ease of installation/use. Would highly recommend based on the two weeks I've had it.

Image quality is good and does the job, but the app is awful and camera is extremely slow to respond. It can take many seconds until it starts up and by then, the thief might already be gone. Sometimes it doesn't even register movement at all. If a person moves quickly, the camera won't even register. A person must actually be in view for a few seconds until the camera decides to send a notification. I assume it's because the camera is asleep and needs to wake up first. It's also annoying that you can't watch multiple camera simultaneously without buying their iPad and watching on PC is annoying to because you need to activate it every 24 hours. I'm moving away from Eufy.

Onlangs heb ik de eufy Security eufyCam 3 extra camera aangeschaft, en ik ben er zeer tevreden mee! Deze camera is een geweldige aanvulling op mijn bestaande eufyCam 3-systeem en biedt extra gemoedsrust als het gaat om de beveiliging van mijn huis. Wat ik echt geweldig vind aan deze camera, is de uitstekende beeldkwaliteit. Met 4K-resolutie leg ik elk detail vast, wat me helpt om duidelijk te zien wat er zich rondom mijn huis afspeelt. Dit is bijzonder handig voor het identificeren van bezoekers of het monitoren van mijn eigendommen. De installatie was eenvoudig en snel. Net als bij mijn andere eufyCam 3-camera’s was het draadloze ontwerp een groot pluspunt, waardoor ik geen gedoe had met kabels. Ik kon de camera binnen enkele minuten installeren en koppelen aan mijn bestaande systeem. Een ander geweldig kenmerk is de lange batterijduur in combinatie met de mogelijkheid om de camera aan te sluiten op een zonnepaneel. Hierdoor kan ik de camera met een gerust hart plaatsen zonder me zorgen te maken over het opladen. Dit maakt het perfect voor plaatsen waar toegang tot een stopcontact moeilijk is. De navigatie via de eufy-app is ook gebruiksvriendelijk en stelt me in staat om eenvoudig toegang te krijgen tot live beelden en opnames. Het instellen van meldingen is eenvoudig en ik krijg snel updates over activiteiten in de buurt van mijn huis.
