Good quality was so good and it delivered on time but can you please change the packaging of it. It was in paper and sometime book get scratch because of paper packages kindly send books in bubble wrapper.

Amazing book! Worth it

Book quality is good from inside (page quality is good) but edges of the book are damaged but overall it is goodI boughted paperback version which consists of 718 pages

The media could not be loaded.  I would recommend this book for kids above 13 years old. As there are many inappropriate words and I would recommend not reading it in your school as there is an inappropriate picture that shouldn't really be cared much as the book is really interesting. From the very first page to the very last page this book is really written well. But I am disappointed in just one thing that is the vampires have been discribed as pale creatures with barely any muscles in their bones with red blood like lips which reminded me of Edward Cullen which is very disappointing.If you watched the vampire diaries you would not like the discription.

My soul is singing and I have been blessed.This is a Trade paperback version, which means, it's fairly big in size and the font is bigger also, it's floppy! Get it if you can before they run out of print and start releasing the brick paperbacks that are so stiff you can't even open them.Super happy with this!

I found it via bookstagram and omg it's so pretty. Like, imagine if the paperback is so pretty, how will the hardcover be? The cover shines, there are character portraits, poems, and pretty map inside. Haven't read it yet but looking forward to!

I am at 31% of this book currently and it is a masterpiece. As I knew it would be. I had the largest book hangover of all time after the Nevernight trilogy and waited to read this because I knew it would be the same. The plot, the characters, the world building… unparalleled. For those that even need this reminder, here are couple important points: this is not YA, it is graphic, it is dark. It is also the besssst. Cannot wait for EOTD.

This excellent fantasy tale has all of the qualities I look for in a good read: well-developed characters, great world-building, and a story that keeps the reader invested. The protagonist is a type of anti-hero who tells his tale in the first person after the fact. There are interesting secondary characters along the way who are deep enough to be protagonists in their own stories.The only drawback to the book is the author’s view on religion. He lost half a star for utilizing a straw man argument to support his poorly developed opinion. He could have done more research and offered a more robust argument, but he was essentially hung up on two points and offered no honest opposing view. Also, he really could have done better by using something other than a carbon copy of Christianity - the only religion “allowed” to be attacked in today’s cancel culture.Four and a half stars. A fantastic tale told well; philosophy offered, not so much. This is the first time I have read a book by this author and I can definitely say it will not be the last. This is the first book in the Empire of the Vampire series, the second book is due at the end of this month(Feb 2024).The story is about Gabriel de León, Gabe is a half-breed and is taken from his home to train as a Silversaint. His mother was human and his father was a vampire. He is not the only half-breed in this book but he is slightly different to the others. Most have a special gift, yet, Gabe doesn't seem to have one. He is looked down upon, and he must make an extra effort every stage of his training. He is deemed to be worthless and from peasant stock.The story of Gabe, his time before going to the Silver Order Brotherhood, and his battles against monsters and other enemies. It is not told in the usual way, instead he is relating history to another. The scribe he is dictating to is a vampire, they are enemies but Gabe has no choice but to divulge his story.This was a fabulous read and I am so glad I eventually came to reading this one. The story is of family, friendship and serving a higher order. This is a story of how Gabe found and then lost his faith but also of how he has become the feared man he is known as.The author gives a huge amount of detail to Gabe and those he gradually befriends. A mix of mystery and murder with horror and paranormal aspects to it. It is not a straightforward fantasy novel but one that mixes a lot of things into it. This in some ways gives it a historical fiction feel but it is obviously fantasy as there are the vampires! Mentions of knights, grail, secret orders, and inquisition, give it knights templar-style, but a darker and definitely a lot more dangerous.The vampires do have some things that are an accepted version of how they can be killed but the author takes it a lot further. The world in which he sets this story is one where the darkness is taking over, the sun is not as bright as it used to be and the tie of dark days and darker nights give vampires an extra edge. This does not mean that the silver order is without power, they have their own powers, and they can fight and kill.Gabe is a character who comes across as a loner, secretive and also an angry character. There is not much about him that you like as such, but that does not mean he is completely unlikeable. The further I read about him the more I was able to get to understand him. His story is one of fights, flights, battles, and secrets and every step of his journey is full of action, adventure, revenge, determination and there is a lot more as well.After reading this first book I cannot wait to get to the next one. I will also be looking at other books by this author and I am so happy to add another fantasy author to my list. A brilliant start to a series and if you are a fan of high fantasy then this is one you should have a look at. I adored this and I would definitely recommend it.
