Edu Science 61024 Giant Bug/Insect Viewer

Good big sturdy item but I don’t think the bug being viewed was that clear, you have to look at the right angle, but would probably be ok for older child.

Bought for my insect loving granddaughter's 2nd birthday. She loved it. I wondered if she'd be able to concentrate for long enough so look through the lens but because it's so big she couldn't help but see the giant spider! Then she was hooked. Fully recommend. Very easy for her to hold and seems sturdy. Bottom comes off, great when you don't want little ones to release a bee!! Bought this with Ruth Browns Snail Trail picture story book to make a lovely gift set.

OK, but hard to open for little hands. Bought a few of these for bug hunt activities where I worked. Also not water tight so no good for pond bug hunts!

The viewer is easy to use with a toddler, and captures their interest. However the magnification is limited.

well made and look forward to seeing the response from our nature loving grandson - will provide lots of interest for some good time

Fairly robust although can be difficult to take apart.

A bit disappointing. Just be aware that a cheap plastic lens does not work as well as in the ads.

I bought two and they were used by a two year old and a three year old at a bio-blitz at the weekend. Both loved them. The two year old even used it in water! Great buy.
