I was lucky to purchase and use this board it is so powerful

I now have had four of these boards. I returned one for missing CPU pins. One seems not stable under power load. Two perform very well. Hence not five stars but four. I will buy two more as replacement.

Having waited a good while for stock and matching components this finally arrived and got commissioned. Was it worth the wait? Yes. Is it a good motherboard? Yes Main pointers to note, so this is a the new 590 chipset, so fully supports PCIe V4, but make sure you have a processor that also supports PCIe V4. If you've a 10th gen it will only work at V3 speeds. Which although not slow, are now a little behind what you can get with V4. So for best results you need to pair this with an 11th generation chip. Memory support was great, and my RAM is running comfortably at 3200Mhz without any issue of heat or stability. The M.2 slots are easy to get to, but again read the manual as you can't just put drives in, in any configuration. If you want a V4 drive you need to use the first slot, if you populate the second slot with another drive you need to go into BIOS and tell it that's what you've done. To avoid potential speed issues I would recommend you use the first slot for your V4 disk, then use one of the 3rd or 4th slots at the bottom of the board for a V3 drive. If you're planning on using two V4 drives then you must use the top two slots and you must tell BIOS that's what you're doing. There is also a known issue with the Digital Audio off the board, out the box it most probably won't have the update, and you might experience a loud static sound coming out at random. This has been fixed with a firmware update available from the ASUS website, make sure you apply this and the problem goes away. So is this a good upgrade? Well I think that really depends on what you want. If you've a 400 or 300 series motherboard and only have V3 PCI devices then I don't think it's worth the money to upgrade. If you have an older version and are in the market to upgrade both your storage, GPU and processor then this motherboard is a great buy. But do make sure you get the latest 11th gen stuff to make the most from it's potential.

Cosa dire, questa X590 è spettacolare, a parte il colore bianco argento dei dissipatori che da una ventata di freschezza rispetto ai soliti neri, la MB si presenta accattivante e piena di longevità. Ha ben 3 slot per M2, è visto il chipset che regge parecchie linee di bus PCIE4, possiamo sfruttrale a pieno.

I love the aesthetic of the product, just wish it would've contained a small foam at the bottom, since the motherboard pins got their way outside the anti-static back and did a good job onto the card box (will edit upon trying the MOBA out). Also I'm happy with the keychain it comes with. (small things sometimes makes a persons day).

Scrivo questa breve nota perchè la qualità dell'articolo lo merita. Questa scheda l'ho acquistata principalmente per due motivi (infatti ne ho acquistate 2 una per me ed una per mio figlio): qualità realizzativa e prestazioni. Il costo di questa MB non è bassissimo ma è adeguato se si considera la qualità costruttiva e la stabilità. Mio figlio usa il PC anche per giocare ed ha bisogno di una scheda performate che permetta l'Overclock e che allo stesso stempo non dia brutte sorprese durante l'utilizzo. Da parte mia invece mi serve una scheda che mi dia il massimo di stabilità e che duri nel tempo, non cambio PC spesso (almeno quello che uso in casa) e pretendo un dispositivo affidabile. Spesso si pensa che le schede da gaming (comprese le schede video) servano solo per il gaming, non è ovviamente così. I dispositivi nati e pensati per gaming hanno delle caratteristiche funzionali in genere più prestigiose dei parametri nominali in quanto devono poter funzionare fuori specifica (diciamo così) in overclock appunto. Avendo quindi delle caratteristiche coì aggressive non hanno alcun problema a lavorare invece alle frequenze e alle tensioni nominali pertanto saranno sicuramente più stabili e quindi affidabili di quelle schede che arrivano a malapena agestire processori come i7 o i9 di 11esima generazione, che oltre ad andare molto veloci hanno dei consumi in termini di energia importanti (si parla sul datasheet infatti di 125W massimi). Se facciamo un volo basso sulle caratteristiche tecniche, giusto un assaggio, si vede subito la qualità costruttiva a partire da: -dissipatori generosi su tto il chipset in alluminio anodizzato -dissipatori con relativi tappetini termici per tutti i dischi M.2 -connessioni placcate oro -PCB muiltilivello con ampi layer di rame per la distribuzione del calore -compatibilità con tutti i tipi di ventole e sistemi di raffreddamento ad acqua -gestione dei power sequencer per non affaticare l'alimentatore e garantire una corrente costante alla CPU -codec audio evoluto -wi-fi e bt di ultima generazione -porta ethernet a 2.5Gbit Andrei oltre ma forse è più comodo leggere il manuale. Non faccio una recensione tecnica perchè non mi sembra il luogo adatto ma ci tengo a sottolineare un paio di cose: 1) E' un ottimo prodotto e siccome sono una persona analitica ci tengo a precisarlo, la qualità non è mai scontata 2) Non serve solo per giocare, anzi, proprio perchè non ci gioco ho acquistato questo prodotto per i motovi che ho evidenziato prima. Pertanto sono molto soddisfatto, spero a breve (costi permettendo) di acquistare anche una nuova scheda video (asus Nvidea RTX), in questo momento i costi ed il mio portafogli me lo impediscono. Spero che queste mie considerazioni e testimonianze servano a chi magari è ancora indeciso. Enrico NOTA Aggiuntiva: HO da poco aggiornato il SO a Windows 11, nessuna sbavatura e ottima stabilità.
