... on my Outback travel trailer. This is what should have came on at stock. Running solar and two 400 amp/hour lipo batteries. Works like a champ. Easy installation, though it was necessary to drill two new holes as this unit is larger than the one that comes on most campers.

I have installed this in a couple of cars that don’t get used very often and it never ceases to amaze me that I can just turn the switch and start either of those cars without a problem even after sitting for several months. One is a ford with a triton v8 and the other is a Honda with a v6. I haven’t had to even charge the battery in either since there is so little drain. What a pleasure it is to just turn the switch on rather than have to get dirty messing around under the hood

First switch didn’t work, check before installing. Had 2nd switch the next day and it works fine. Bolts are sent with the switch, if you can’t access behind the wall ( i can’t) you’ll need stainless steel screws with a small head to fit in the recess holes in the housing (i used screen door screws). My mechanic has seen several of these on a large boat, no problems. Four stars for weatherproof because the cables are open at the bottom, i think all these type of switches are.

Works great. Easy install

It’s pretty large for my application but it’s the only thing rated high enough. I’m using this as a shut off for a winch on my truck which has a wireless remote. This prevents random remotes from being able to run my winch and also cuts power if I need to run through high water.
