Fantastic product and looks well built. The rounded rubber surface was good size (not too oversized or oval shaped). What can you say when the product meets the brief for a good price. I would happily recommend this wand to someone who loves washing their car or even someone who finds the bent wand with shorter reach ideal for cleaning surfaces around the home. I am eyeing your foam cannon as a future buy once you get a wide mouthed version. Great job to the guys in Mckillan at NY state. Things I find that can be improved are as follows: 1. State what threads are used in the QD adapters ( I assume NPT as I have other Mckillans which were NPT, but would be great to state it). I am a buyer from OZ and we used BSPP/T down under. 2. The QD Plug and socket were put on nice and tight and I was unable to remove it. I can see that Teflon tape has not been used but I assume loctite blue has been used. Nevertheless, it is put on super tight which is good for leak protection but not serviceability.

The McKillans Car Pressure Washer Extension Wand is one of those deceptively simple tools that instantly changes how you wash your car. After years of using bulky, awkward full-length wands, this short, precision-engineered extension feels like a revelation—balanced, sturdy, and designed for people who actually care about the details in their detailing. Build Quality: Everything about this wand feels premium. The stainless steel and brass fittings are cleanly machined and connect with a satisfying, leak-free click. The quick-connect system fits perfectly with standard pressure washers, and the O-rings seal tight every time. There’s zero slop or play in the joints—just solid, confident construction. The coating on the handle gives excellent grip, even with wet or soapy hands, and the overall build inspires long-term confidence. Feel in the Hand: At roughly a foot long, the McKillans short wand feels perfectly balanced—light enough for precision work, yet solid enough to feel substantial. It eliminates the wrist strain that comes with longer wands, making it ideal for washing lower panels, wheels, and bumpers. The ergonomics are spot on; you can maneuver around tight angles and contours without fighting the tool. It’s one of those rare pieces of gear that immediately feels “right.” Functionality: Performance-wise, it delivers. The flow and pressure are consistent, and the wand pairs seamlessly with foam cannons or nozzles. Whether rinsing soap off delicate paint or blasting grit from wheel wells, the short profile gives you control that’s hard to achieve with standard extensions. It’s also easy to store, quick to attach, and perfect for both weekend washes and professional detailing setups. Pros: Excellent build quality—sturdy, leak-free, and precision-made. Compact, ergonomic design and grip reduces fatigue and improves control. Compatible with most standard pressure washer systems. Ideal for wheel cleaning, foam cannon work, and tight spots. Performs like premium wands costing two or three times more. Cons: Not ideal for tall vehicles if used alone—best paired with a longer wand for roof sections. Use Cases: Perfect for car enthusiasts, detailers, or anyone wanting a more comfortable, efficient washing experience. Compared to high-end short wands from boutique detailing brands, the McKillans Extension Wand delivers the same precision, comfort, and quality feel—without the premium markup. In short: it’s one of those rare tools that makes washing your car faster, easier, and a lot more enjoyable.

There's really not much to say except the quality is very good and it is well constructed. The quick connects work flawlessly. I like the plastic or rubberized textured wand...it gives you something to grip onto while washing or cleaning with the pressure washer. I use this wand for washing cars exclusively and the little angle/bend is PERFECT. I would recommend this for anyone without a doubt.
