Said to be originally domesticated by the Ancient Egyptians, the House Cat is still as wild as its larger counter parts, inside and out. Accurately modeled cutaway animal anatomy figure features 13 fully detachable organs and body parts. Highly detailed assembly kits are educational and collectible. Quality finished with hand painted parts. Includes a display platform and illustrated guidebook. 11-1/2" in length. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Internals very high quality. Fun gift for cat-loving child.
This was a birthday gift for a young one who loves cats and home science, it rates five stars from me. Despite some drawbacks, considering the price and overall quality compared to professional models, we are very happy with it.While the cat's shell is a brittle plastic that I'm afraid might break if stressed the wrong way, the organs and bones are a nice dense rubber/plastic material, with detailed molding and painting. Even the non-removable structures embedded in the shell are of high quality. I'd say the internals are as nice as any pricier professional models I've seen in veterinarians' offices. The innards easily get dislocated if the assembled model is moved about but it's ok, gives us a few laughs to consider Kittey's kidneys descending towards her belly. So we consider this gift a success. Maybe next year we step up to actual cat anatomy .

Good construction
Bought for my 4yr old daughter to explore anatomy of her favorite animal. She is fascinated. I had to do the initial assembly but now that it’s together I’m sure she will learn to reassemble it eventually. She wants to keep it on a shelf so apparently recognizes it’s for display, but it’s still robust enough for early hands on learning for her, though my boy would have destroyed it at 4yrs old. I grew up with the visible man model which required modeling and finishing skills to complete, and I am very pleased with the finishing quality on all of the parts here, and how well the clear face fits to the body.

Perfect for the somewhat creepy kid
My 8 year-old daughter is fascinated by anatomy and had this on her christmas list. Santa obliged her and she was thrilled. I much prefer this to the "amazing opportunies" afforded to us with the odd animal carcass she finds at the local parks.

Awesome!
Very cool model for our 9yr old daughter who likes cats and is interested in science. We put it together as a family and identified all the organs and bones, with the help of the included diagram. Bought another animal by the same company because we were so impressed with this one!

Organ Failure!
My 7 year old likes this, but she got really frustrated that some of the organs dont stay in place. I glued the offending parts and she is happy now. It is a shame- if this were better made I would love to get her the complete collection.

Great toy!
Great educational toy! Bought it as a gift so I haven't had a chance to mess around with it much but it's pretty good size , detailed and seems sturdy! Definitely pleased with it.

Very well made.
I was expecting something much smaller than what I got, and I was delighted. I'm a fan of XXRAY's stuff and my girlfriend is a veterinarian, so this was the perfect gift to encompass both of us. It was a fun puzzle for her during the 0.5 seconds she took to build it (I don't know what I was expecting, really) and it made for great decoration. The quality was nice: the pieces were very finely made and the paint job was polished. Truly pleased with this purchase!
